Valentino Donna Born in Roma is definitely worth the hype. It is such a pretty fragrance. I don't typically buy a fragrance more than once, but that is one of the few exceptions I will make.

I wear this to work just about everyday. It makes me pretty happy whenever I smell it while working, especially since it doesn’t stand out like crazy, but it gives me enough spice/excitement to get me through the day lol. I thought of it as pretty generic, but you’re right, it grows on you and is addictive. I think the base notes give off something seductive, but it’s close to my skin so not enough to be noticeable, but I love that dry down

I was addicted to Donna at first sniff👃& it has become a fav out of my collection. The first time I wore it I had a scarf wrapped around my neck & when I took it off I didn't wear it again til a week later and the scent was still very prominent. I kept sniffing my scarf like I was in a gain commercial ☺️🥰

I feel like Valentino Donna born on roma scents are very pretty and unique but in my opinion they should re-do this line and change something in the formula to make it a bit more long lasting !

I recently got into fragrances and all the scents I like are the expensive ones 🤣 Like, Chanel Tendre Parfum, Delina, Rolling in Love Kilian, Si Fiori, Creed Aventus for Her, Twilly Hermes and Baccarat Rouge 540. I've had strangers asking me what I use and when I tell them they say it's more for 25 years old+ 😒 almost 20 and I don't think it's out of my league.

I get sweet berries and musk mostly on this perfume. On me, it turns to something like Burberry Her plus a lot of musk. It def stays long my clothes. I love it!

I bought this recently. Its a great scent but I ultimately returned it. I felt the same way. The scent is not unique and I felt like I had other scents in my collection similar to it. I also have the Giorgio Armani My Way

@@hodansaciid8706 Its definitely not a dupe for Giorgio Armani's My Way or YSL Libre Intense. But it smells similar to them, like they have the same DNA. I just didn't think the scent was unique and I'm surprised by the hype. If you don't have YSL or My Way, i'll say go for it.

I def agree this is a crowd pleasing scent and safe buy! I love it so much and totally agree with it having the same DNA as alot of popular designer perfumes. I get compliments on this one for sure! Gucci Flora smells really great! I can't explain it, but the scent is warm and has depth. It's like a sexy but sweet garden in the sunset.. It's captivating and you will find yourself going it for another sniff xD

I almost ordered this online as a blind buy, but I have a hard time wearing fragrances with black currant so I opted to smell it first at Ulta. The first note I picked up on was the black currant…It was beautiful, but my nose and stomach cannot handle prominent black currant scents. For some reason it makes me nauseous (don’t know why). Meanwhile, while I was at Ulta, I also smelled Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia and it was love at first sniff. Just gorgeous!!!! Some say it smells like Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy and I get the similarities, but Gucci GG is so much more complex and has a beautiful floral dry down (unlike Viva La Juicy - which dries down to sugar and caramel).

Very similar to Armani Si to me but that tea mid and bourbon vanilla dry down makes it better than other designer perfumes. On my skin the vanilla really comes out in the dry down. Just perfect for Fall/Spring when it’s still a little cool outside. And I actually can’t overspray with Donna because it is heavy for me, but the light spritz I do lasts me for my whole work day.

I do like it. I always get so many samples of it whenever I make a purchase of perfume. But in this world where everyone is an over consumer, I’m kind of at that point in my collection where in order for me to buy it it really needs to be something special. A woman does not need 40 bottles of perfume. It is a cute one though. I will probably get it after I go through a couple bottles of other stuff. If I can be disciplined and wait

Its a recent buy for me and I must say that I think its worth the hype! I think its mass appealing and I really couldnt see how one would think it smells “bad”. Completely agree with you! Not unique, but it’s still very pretty and wearable. I bought the travel size when all the girls were giving this clout in the beginning and I still reach for it every now and again when I need something safe!

It's really REALLY pretty. However, it took me a few weeks to really like it the way it deserves, because at first, it was so different than the Egyptian type musks I wear (also Burberry woman), that I balked at it at first. Now, I LOVE it!!!! 😍 If you don't like it at first, give it a few weeks and you may be addicted like the rest of us! 💖

Just picked this up a few days ago and I keep reaching for it! It's such a yummy scent. The vanilla pushes through for me and I used to not like vanilla because I felt it always smelled artificial but I'm slowly turning the corner to loving it when it's done right. My only complaint is that the throw is not as much as I was hoping for.

This is probably the best perfume I’ve used! I have the travel size and a little goes a long way, and this lasts for hours too! I love how this has bourbon vanilla in it, and that it’s fruity and floral

I love this fragrance. Im not a reviewer or a collector. I've never smelled other perfumes that smell like it to me where I live. It smells pretty, it lasts long enough, its not overpowering and its easy and pleasant to wear.

Prada Paradoxe and shockingly enough, Britney Spears's Electric Fantasy is very similar to Donna Born in Roma. I have all 3 and you will not be disappointed if you bought one over the other. The projection is not the best on any of them for me, but they're beautiful scents.

DBIR IS on of my favorite fragrance. But i don't think you have the same DNA of flowerbomb or Si Armani at all. I don't like Si and i hate flowerbomb....but i found a similarity with Voce Viva. It's not very unique for sure but it's the type of fragrance i use the most for work, for shopping, for every day.

Yes Valentino Donna, I love it. I discovered it last year and I always reach for it. It works well with my body chemistry. It’s a keeper for me. Will you review Chloe. I love Chloe. Your reviews are very in depth so I’d love to hear your take. You’ve made me realize why I enjoy certain fragrances. I lean toward gourmand. I’ve found that recently I’m loving Her by Narciso Rodriquez (black bottle) Good Girl and they smell very similar with subtle differences. Another everyday favorite for me is Tocca Cleopatra. Also why do some fragrances make me sneeze and others don’t? Chloe makes me sneeze but I love it and wear it anyway.

I fell for the hype of the Valentino perfume however I find it very childlike, very young and too sweet so I gave it to my 11 year old who wears it school as one of her every day scents . It’s just not for me , I also have the Gucci flora which is lovely but very faint I prefer the Gucci bloom . Thanks for the review

this doesn’t smell childlike at all. Id give your 11 year old the sweet tooth perfume from Walmart or Pink Sugar, those would be age appropriate for her and those sounds like a super sweet fragrance. Personally I think Born In Roma is too mature for an 11 year old. It’s a fruity vanilla but it’s not that sweet but it still is very much a grown woman’s perfume.

It smells really good, no lie, but......... longevity is about 17 minutes and 42 seconds. Starts off good but be comes a skin scent very quickly on my skin. I have to reallllllllllly over spray and carry it with me to re-up.

I’m a fruity floral lover, and jasmine is my favorite note, but I can not understand why this just doesn’t do it for me. Like if someone bought it for me, I’d probably wear it but deff not a must buy. I have Si, My Way, & some Flowerbomb flankers and I definitely prefer them. But Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia!!
