First, thank you for helping out the mommas with no hair-doing skills, and no patience to even try. However, I have a 13-year-old daughter and she is more conscious of her hair upkeep now, so I have to rise to the occasion & because I refuse to pay $200+ on a regular basis for hair styling. Now, I completed this on my daughter's hair, and overall it was VERY easy once I got my bearings straight, lol. It came out okay. Super proud, and my daughter loved it. However, it was stiff and still mostly straight vs curly, different lengths, and the hair was a nuisance to fluff which made the process longer than it needed to be. I also had to dip her ends for them to stay as a few began to unravel and to lessen the stiffness to give some movement. I'm looking for some troubleshooting tips as we definitely want to do this again! Note: The one thing I was able to figure out is that the strand count of the twists was inconsistent out of the pack. The twists that were missing strands were a terror to fluff. They became a tangled mess. The others fluffed wonderfully. The link for the twists you gave was out of stock, so I purchased the same exact ones from another buyer on Amazon.

Beautiful 🤩 I tried this but my rubber bands weren’t covered. How many times do you wrap around the rubber band to hide them ?
@APlll3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! 💛 & like twice but you really have to be mindful to cover them because you can see in the video one of them aren’t properly covering because I was rushing

How could I achieve this with the rubber band method with only 2-3 inch hair
@APlll3 жыл бұрын
I would double rubber band it for extra safety so it doesn't slip but literally the same way. You should be good

Mine start to unravel before I have the chance to finish my head! 😭😭 What am I doing wrong???

Try gluing the ends, but don’t let it touch ur real hair.
@devvydev70163 жыл бұрын
@@marissadickson9849 That didn't work either. The ends are perfect, but the top still unravels. Thank you though!
@faiththompson90673 жыл бұрын
@@devvydev7016 you start off by wrapping the hair over itself a few times at the root tightly before your start to move down the hair. As you start to move down wrap more losely

I'm seeing butterfly locs not faux...

Faux means fake or artificial… that’s what these are. Her hair isn’t actually locked so regardless of the type they are faux.
