Your hair looks great & you are making me want to cancel my next braid appointment because I had crazy split ends the last time too. A video on how you maintain your hair would be great like typical wash days, refreshing, etc. Libra season! I am an October Libra.

A curly girly trin/cut is truly under estimate one important factor I learnt on my hair journey

What products have you been using since your salon visit in May? Deep conditioners, gels? Do you still use a leave-in after you deep condition? Thanks 😊

Your 5-month update is beautiful. Did you use I create memory and I create volume gel? Thoughts on these products?

Beautiful results, Alyssa! I need to get back to Salon Skanda when I move back home to Atlanta. Do you take vitamin D and iron to retain hair growth?

girl braids never work for me that is exactly what happened to me and I did cut my hair. It was tangled, and I lost patience. i am still nursingit back to health. Trying to get my detangling squared also.

I asked my hairstylist for a trim and she cut my hair thinning it out so my my long even hair is now thick the root and thins out like an ombré effect.😢 I noticed my hair breaks off. What can I do to protect my hair from further damage?

I love this. I loved braids but I realized it was compromising my hair health. I was sad but it had helped me embrace my coily hair

Consider going to a hair stylist who braids vs. the African Braid shop. My stylist will wash, blow dry, trim and condition your hair (wash, leave in and blow dry is included in the price). And she braids well but not excessively tight like the stereotypical African braider
@reydjzАй бұрын
Reading the comments made me alittle sad because braids aren’t bad it just might be the braider or the the takedown thats causing yall to have these problems. And you didn’t get a “detox “ she just lifted the previous color off your hair

honestly it depends on hair type. for people who have finer hair or have color, braids for every 4 weeks can really be harsh on their hair strands regardless of take down or the stylist
@avasd59Ай бұрын
I wore smedium knotless braids 3x times back to back last year and left them in for at least 6 weeks because I was burnt out and didn't have the energy to do my hair. I was surprised but my hair thrived and wasn't dry at all after taking them out even though I did nothing to care for my hair underneath. I did trim my ends before braiding though
@reydjz9 күн бұрын
@@Rinslet_Eve i can definitely agree with that. I think finding a braid/twist style that works for your hair type is the most important
