You can get the same results by putting on curl cream after your shower while your hair is still wet and then blow drying it from different angles to shape it how you like. Put it on medium heat and blow dry from atleast 1 or 2 fist👊 lengths away. You can touch up with your fingers while blowdrying for additional shape and and separation of coils. I have natural curls but it dries out too much when I let it dry naturally. For me blow drying gives my curls a more softer, defining look. Plus it's less time consuming.

Yes that´s because every hair is different. If you have a lack of moisture, try deep conditioning once a week! Also you could us a curl gel... idk if this works on boys im a girl but for me my hair is very dry usually and it worked. Da guy in the video is just super lucky man im jealous

hey! i had the same problem, you could be sensitive to protein in your hair products. if you have low porosity hair, the hair cuticle is flattened down and has a hard time opening up (accepting moisture). so if you add protein, it just makes the hair even more stiff. hair is made of protein already (keratin) so some people with low porosity hair cannot handle anymore protein. protein ingredients to look out for: keratin, hydrolyzed protein, amino acids, silk, wheat protein, collagen, soy. even coconut oil can behave like a “protein” even though it’s not. because low porosity hair’s cuticle is more closed by default, coconut oil may just sit on top -> causing greasiness or stiffness. it’s not really adding moisture, but sealing the hair closed. after i ditched protein my curls were defined and soft/bouncy, not stiff and “hard” search up low porosity hair products/tutorials on youtube for curly hair
