Yo I want to say to all the self cut guys keep going. I usually mess up every time I cut my hair and it’s frustrating but I can see progress so keep going guys A fingers width is good but my advice for a one cutting there hair would be when you go up lever open no gaurd go up as much as you need to visually be able to cut that guidline in half with lever halfway then lever closed to take the line all the way out. One easy way for me to mess up is to tight or small guidelines. Love your content you always get the clearest footage while giving the best explanations.

So many Barbers have a hard time cutting a temper taper , they cut above the OCCIPITAL BONE , and blow the whole cut, or they cut the wing to low, the hair on top. The wings and the tail or occipital bone , is what makes a good temper taper. Most Barbers are good at Damon Dash close cutts or Michael Jordan , bald cutts.
