Amp sounds amazing. I have no idea what the any of the technology means but I'm smart enough to recognize the brilliance

That's the fuckin' sound right there, buddy! My dream rig. All I need now is the playing skill. That's the hard part! Building an amp is easy!

Sounds absolutely freekin awesome! 😎🤘 Did i understand correctly from another comment below, that this is the Ken Fisher Trainwreck pages Master Volume Type1?
@CurranproducerАй бұрын
Yes this is correct. The trainwreck pages can be found for free online. There is a chapter in MV's.

I like the sound of the master volume that is tapped off the treble pot.
@Curranproducer3 ай бұрын
that is a "classic" pre-phase inverter" master volume for sure. every high gain amp out there uses that almost exclusively.

I saw a kit online. Says it’s based on Ken fisher’s type II with the LarMar refinement (2.2Ohm safety resistors). Uses an alpha 250K audio dual pot. Is this what you’re using here?
@Curranproducer3 ай бұрын
No, I do not like the Lar-Mar version of the PPIMV, it reacts weirdly to my ear. In the Ken Fisher trainwreck pages I use the Master Volume Version #1. this on eis the cleanest, most stable, and safest PPIMV.

That is the one I DO NOT like and DO NOT use. The other one with the dual gang pot and added caps. THAT is the sexy sexy

Lol why do you have the signal generators in the back?
@Curranproducer3 ай бұрын
The two stacked are oscilloscope's. The little guy next to them is a dual signal generator. I use them for repairs.
