Usually agree with myke. But curren$y was the dark horse of the project, he gave the smoothness to the entire album, Freddie alone wouldn’t have made this album sound as good as it is. Great album and I do believe they actually sound their best together

Shawn Mitchell Interesting. I guess since I consider Freddie to be laid back, I felt like they meshed well together. I honestly haven’t seen this criticism until now. haha I guess that’s since I don’t use Twitter or anything. Plus, I’ve exclusively watched Dead End for hip hop opinions for 5 years. I guess I miss certain opinions that way. 😂😂😂

I agree with Rod they complement each other. It's like UGK. One member is definitely the "spitter" but the laid-back flow-er breaks it up and is still nice in his own right. My problem with most Freddie projects is his rapping gets monotonous to me after 5 or 6 tracks, so having Curren$y to contrast and clear the air makes when he *does* come in sound that much rawer.

3 things: 1. Great review and video 2. I don't think this project falls apart without Gibbs. Curren$y can handle Alchemist beats for an entire project just fine (Covert Coup). 3. I understand why people might not understand Curren$y music immediately. Think of each Curren$y verse like a movie. Curren$y is the filmwork, providing the description, the hues and lighting - the setting. Atmospheric almost. Freddie Gibbs is the dialogue and mouthpiece. #TOP5RAPWEBSITE

They Only Did This Review Because Of Freddie Gibbs. Y’all Already Kno They Never Give Spitta The Credit He Deserves & Consistently Dismisses His Abilities As A Rapper. With The Exception Of Feefo.Yes, Not The Most Lyrical But Definitely Has Some Slick Lines & Wordplay Along With Having An ORIGINAL Flow & Style. That’s What Makes Curren$y Great & Further Explains His Appeal To Others. You Could Make The Same Arguments For Others Like Max B ,ODB, & DMX. You Can’t Let Bias Get In The Way Of Good Content 💯

As a HUGE Curren$y and a HUGE Freddie fan, I'd say they go together perfectly. You put either of them on smooth, sample based beats like these and literally every single time it's gonna be awesome. They're the two most consistent rappers in the game imo. They're both super smooth rappers, just in different ways, which is why they go together perfectly for me. Freddie's a little harder, Curren$y's more chill. It's a no brainer match up to me.

Don’t Get Me Wrong I Love Both Curren$y & Freddie Gibbs As Artists But It’s Like They Worship The Ground Freddie Gibbs Walks On While Always Shitting On Spitta Every Chance They Get. As I Mentioned Before, It Jus Supports The Bias They All Have Against Spitta & Other Certain Rappers & It’s Not Cool To Move Like That. Especially When They’re So Respected In The Game. How does Ken have dandruff on his shoulder. Also, great job with the editing this time Rod, clear improvement from the last video with the cuts. It really felt like they kept up with the flow of the conversation, keep it up!
