this is funny ,because i'm searching the net for inflatable SUP with motor and Cort has already made a review of 1 =) . Dude is everywhere !

NWforager. I nearly shat when I saw the ERR logo duping the EBR and was like WTF (cause I'm looking at e-surf/sup) hit the play and BOOM there's Court! Guys like a rash.

This was an awesome review, simple and to the point. I live in the Caribbean and the trade winds play havoc on inflatable sup's, plus I am up there in age, so this sounds like a good reason to spend more time out on the water. Two thumbs up.

Awesome, I've seen these before and they look really fun. Good to get some info on them. I was surprised how much run time you get.
@ElectricRideReview9 жыл бұрын
+Gardener Rob Yeah, it sounds like you can get ~2 hours at 5 mph and 5+ hours at lower speeds just trolling. I finally posted the writeup and the battery size is 15 volts with ~29 amp hours so nearly .5 kilowatt hours running at 400 watts peak output (probably closer to 200 most of the time at lower speed). This makes sense to me, 10 miles on an ebike is usually a minimum for a 360 watt hour battery running on a 250 to 350 watt motor. Similar :)

You have a safety switch for the rider... What happens if you're at full speed and drop the paddle?

"With a little bit of rubber added into so it can handle bashing into coral". "Have a blade protector to protect marine life". So bash the hell out of the coral while protecting marine life. Makes perfect sense.

In New Jersey where I live you are never required to have a motor on you boat. I assume the same is true of paddle boards. There are many smaller bodies of waters that ban motors or limit the power of motors.

+natrone23 Yeah, I could see this being perfect for cruising out then chilling and fishing from. Maybe all you need now is an umbrella mount and a reclining pool chair or something :P

$1800 for the Electrafin. sorry ridiculous price for tech that has been around for years.
@ElectricRideReview9 жыл бұрын
+Mike Easingwood Yeah, it's a bit expensive but packaged well and easy to fit onto a board. I actually think they could charge more considering the marine grade parts and wireless controller... this thing would be pretty time consuming for most average people to put together :)
@tommyswann65205 жыл бұрын
Way overpriced for a cheap motor ,plastic fin and a battery..ridiculous!!
@rbv62335 жыл бұрын
40watt solar panel will charge that battery with then 3 dayside more . Not exciting at all ! But I guess people that can’t do the math will pay the price . Stand up Paddleboard with solar panel will take you across the Atlantic Ocean . Sounds good no ? For 2k 😂

Not to be a negative nancy but this video gave bad information regarding legality. You are violating State and federal law. First off I see you are at salmon bay which is a Federal Navigable waterway. Which leads into lake Washington. Why is this important? Well Under Washington state if you operate ANY motorized vessel in a federal water way you are required to have the vessel registered No mater what the horse power. That "vessel" has no state registration numbers. Also when the guy was on the board he obviously does not have any of the federally and state required equipment Such as Flares and sound producing devices. Which means you follow under Negligent Operation (46 USC 2302 (a) (b)). Grossly negligent operation is a criminal offense and an operator may be fined up to $5,000, imprisoned for one year, or both. There are multiple other federal laws and fines you are under and could face charges for violating. You also have state penalties that could be imposed. You unknowingly posted a video of you Violating federal and state laws.

Well i have no doubt it would be someone like you that would bring it to there attention. What is it anyway with America? your laws sound like something out of Monty Python movie has your judicial system simply become another capitalist business.
@SilverShadow2LWB4 жыл бұрын
@@shiraz1736 I was told the same thing from my local Harbor Patrol here in So. California. They just want to keep things safe....I guess. I tried to purchase the e-board, but it seems like they are going out of business since they have no stock.
@natrone239 жыл бұрын
Lifejacket.....really?
@ElectricRideReview9 жыл бұрын
+natrone23 Well, if you slip and hit your head on the dock while launching the jacket could save your life. I always wear safety stuff on film to set a good example but I surf all the time without a jacket and have been smacked in the face with my board (thankfully not knocked out). I've also been trained for lifeguarding and spent time on boats and kayaks, many vessels require you to use them.
