It was very weird how people were so against TikTok because of the Chinese spying on people, but then everyone is okay with a Chinese AI. I don't trust it at all

The chips needed to power AI can’t be exported to China. What better way to circumvent those restrictions than by having this based in the US or Canada where the chips are available?

Chinese used limited chips but created an efficient software. Moreover, they made the coding public for everyone can use them to create similar search engines. That's why it crashed the market of AI companies as well as a chips manufacturer. No more control over chips and unlimited free access to information. Almost 1B gone in one day. Whoever invested in American AI companies lost their money.
