Whenever i go to shows, i usually think to myself "why do people always have their phones out? Don't they want to enjoy the show for themselves?" Then I come across videos like this.. where i am so happy someone captured the moment. And thanks to the uploader for sharing. Thank you for being there when i could not, and letting everyone enjoy this too. 👍

My roommate asked me why I like this song so much and why I have it on repeat most of the time.Here's why: It begins slowly and steadily. Slow and steady could refer to my mental stability at the moment. As the song progresses, new sounds and musical instruments are introduced, which can be interpreted as the voices in my head becoming louder. Finally, it reaches a point of composition in which only loud music surrounds me.The first time I heard those songs, my mind went blank, and I felt at peace. When the music was loud, I was immersed in the screaming sound of that guitar and no longer heard those voices inside my head.That is why this song will always have a special place in my heart.
@nah63538 ай бұрын
Finally someone who understands "music is a feeling" which i see rarerly in others descriptions of any song. I believe i really think of this song similiarlly to you, the longer the song plays the more haunting it becomes. The vocals have so much more regret and emotion since the halfway of the song than at the start. You can feel the regret, melancholy and fear building up, well, at least i personally feel that. Instrument build up to the last bit is..i am speechless, i cant even describe how i interpet it. However, i am sure its a clash of emotions, i would say somewhat a realization of current state of life and not being able to go back at all - or at least not fitting with what is in his life now. Either way, i Love your comment and i hope youre doing well!

This might be one of my favorite recordings ever just because of how much of a struggle it was for him with the gear malfunctions but how he just doing powered thru it and you get the moments where each time he comes back in with the song it just adds to the triumph of it and since the song is a bit of a slow march or stroll across it's length it works perfectly

To me, this song lyrics are marvellous. I think of a different age not in 'chronological' terms, but I imagine a 'mental', metaphorical different age. Sort of a Neverland of thought. I'm still pretty young, but I do feel this different age, and it is in my mind. It is a wonderful maze in my mind. My secret world, where nobody is allowed in except me.

Oh, you don't know me 'cause I'm from a different age And you can't see me 'cause I live in a different age And you can hurt me but you wouldn't know what to say But you should believe me, our dreams are all the same Like a life without love God, that's just insane But a love without a life Well, that just happens everyday And I wish I could change, but I'll probably just stay the same And I wish you could see the Lord But this song is a joke and the melody I wrote, wrote! Oh, you can't hear me 'cause I sing to a different age And you should fear me 'cause I believe in a different age But I live in the city that lives in a different age Oh, I live in a city that lives in a different age Where all the poets are writing up wires And our just singing songs Oh, all the poets are writing up wires And hours are just singing This city's got nothing for you here, kid Oh, I told you just go home They're saying this city is useless But we've already done it all Oh, all the poets are writing up wands And hours just singing songs And I wish you could see the Lord But this song is a joke and the melody I wrote, wrote!
