Love the subtle color and careful progression! Painting does involve inspiration, but an organized process helps bring the artist's efforts to their best advantage. We noticed some of the colors are deposited on the palette in long beads instead of dollops- that's an effective way to keep the color clean when you're frequently reloading between mixtures, instead of digging into a small pile. Some great pro tips in this video!

So wonderful to have a brand new Tori upload!! I rewatch your old videos pretty frequently to replenish my motivation and inspiration or to keep me company as I draw personal work. It’s a real treat to see something new from you. This is such a concise explanation of everything that goes into your watercolor proces, it’s quite amazing to see and hear!! Many things I “accidentally” do and end up liking when using watercolor are things you have actively studied, practiced and consciously chose to apply in your paintings. That motivates me to improve my skills so I can work more effectively instead of kinda, lucking out I guess. I bet this video is even interesting for people who aren’t artists, especially those who see art as a talent or rare, unattainable gift.
