This is always amazing to see! Sadly, I doubt we will ever see a “Story all your own” Run along the likes of what okami has, where you get all achievements/trophies. The requirements to play at least 100 hours on one save to get the last time based achievement kinda kills any desire to run that as a category I would imagine, since the “best time” would likely be 100+ hours, I would think one would do fleet foot + solo traveler first, then on a separate save (as to collect missables), get EVERYTHING else. If someone DID do that, I would be both impressed, and quite concerned hahaha

So I just got to Galdera yesterday, not realizing it was a two team fight, and being severly ill equipped for the fight. I was level 50's for everyone except Tressa who was 40... because I didnt get on the hype train for her until literally the end of the game... All of that to say I am going to go over your build and items again because I had no clue that Tressa could be that dominant, nor that Balgor's be that oppressive.... having those builds and skills is clearly the game changing strategy to face Galdera with a full team of 8.... Which is specifically why I watched a speedrunners video. If anyone had a good strategy for fighting the end game nonsense it would be a speedrunner haha!

Galdera is one of the only final bosses I have to been able to beat in a video game. Still 7 years later and I haven't beaten him. Not even in Octo 2. Tho I've gotten closer to doing it lately

You know despite this game's shortcomings (the story being the biggest disappointment most of the time), i will never be able to deny their is something SPECIAL about this game and its sequel. Just the atmosphere and the vibes this game gives off. Its a real shame the devs could never reach the true potential of what they were doing. This artstyle has undeniably established itself in the gaming landscape forever. Their is a REASON people beg for an HD 2D remake of the old Final Fantasy's in THIS STYLE. It's amazing how magical the world of Octopath has become from it. And it deserves to be recognized as highly as it is. I hope whatever third game may or may not come out will be able to reach higher than even these two games already have.

Evasive Manoeuvres allows you to travel a long distance without getting an encounter, and the step counter resets on every screen transition. Some maps have a risk of encounter but in general you are likely to avoid it.

Now,I know why they restrict you to 2 areas at the demo lmao. I got the game after playing the demo and I think I was 3 hours in with Therion and Haanit xD roaming around on the demo version

Reading through them it seems they might be outdated, yet it says it was "updated" in February this year. The second character in "your" notes is cyrus, so I conclude you might have more up to date notes on hand? Thank you ever so much for your hard work mate

What is the best character team your opinion? For a normal game.

For a casual playthrough you really can just go with whoever. I'd probably only keep Therion for purple chests, that's about it.

How can you defeat such powerful bosses with such low-level equipment and characters? Do bosses also suffer from a nerf equally at the level of travelers? Because it was very difficult for me having Olberic, Ophilia, Primrose, Alfyn at level 50 to defeat the final bosses :(

The buffs and debuffs make all the difference. Plus the dohters charity strat is kinda busted with the jam.

@@prestonlui6451 Unfortunately we don't have enough money the second time either because we need the money for Esmeralda. It also doesn't have a significant advantage over the Force Shield and even the Adamantine Shield.
