Currently, I'm Not a Big Fan of 2v8 | Dead by Daylight

I express my full CURRENT opinion on 2v8 at the end of the video. It may change, I just need to play more of it to get a final opinion. Hopefully you can understand how disappointing it is that it isn't a permanent game mode though. I mean, come on. Just to be clear, it's my OPINION and it MIGHT be temporary. Either way, enjoy the video!

Survivors don’t have 3 second chance perks in this game mode, so the game is actually pretty challenging. But the killer is super fun to play

I tried to play killer during the stream I made this vid from, but either my game broke while I was readied up or it was just taking forever to put me in a lobby, so I haven’t experienced killer in 2v8 yet

@@Firebaum Yeah the queue time is like 15-30mins. I’d still say it’s worth it. Especially with a friend.

i mean, i've escaped 80% of my matches, and that is like three times my 1v4 amount lol (and i've queued a lot of 2v8). It really is very easy to escape unless you get like a cracked duo of p100s (just like in the regular mode though isn't it....) I feel almost like i'm cheating when you and your whole team basically have sprint burst ready on a 20 second cooldown, that's shorter than pairing vigil+sprint burst ffs lol. and chases are such a no go in this mode, and there's so many pallets, that making that distance inmediately every time feels like actually cheating lol. And if you have a couple of scouts, you have wallhacks the whole game it's hilariously easy. hell, you don't even even need to waste your teammates time on deathook, base unbreakable and self heal lol. you go do those gens i say, don't waste your time on me haha. And as killer, if it's a team of swfs that are trying to be more toxic ayrun (or are trying to be green grasshopper claudette), it's hell lol, you got 8 bullies instead of 4. i just killed one that was teabagging like crazy and it felt so goooooood, she stayed teabagging and ate my hatchet and wraith from behind 😂😂KARMA BITCH. those 8 peple teams bring some of the worst of that pack mentality too, not just the "friendly" "happy" "mod aproved" players. let's be real. the babies are only there for a while, what's left is the toxic community we are lol. But if you go against genuinly naive players, a bunch of solo queuers making use of the free weekend or something, or a mixture of casual duos etc, it feels like diet dbd, i can play it without paying much attention at all, hell, was watching some series on top at times lol (and even more so as survivor, don't even bother using a headset, blast that music on your speaker and escape🤣🤣) , there isn't much to think or consider on either side compared to the normal game. But......why play this is my question? i can have even more fun on other games, plus without the queue. It turns dbd into some diet version of something else. To each their own i guess. But it does affect those of us who care more about 1v4, since splitting the playerbase and keeping some newcomer babies confortably numb in 2v8 only damages the player pool for the meat of this game, 1v4. Honestly, i got over this mode already. cool gimmick, that's it. the best comparison i can make, is this is for dbd, what death note is for anime lol, or aram for league (but aram is much better at it). What you posibly force your friend to watch/play if they don't have the biggest interest in dbd for whichever bias. but i still feel like shuffle mode was a better approach to that. and it could be a funny challenge for everyone. 2v8 gets boring, repetitive and brainless VERY fast for both sides. And the queue isn't worth imo. for real. this is some stockholm syndrome, pretending like it is lol. it's only worth it to try it out or wathever before it goes away, so, fomo basically, nothing more. but if the game were to be permanent, would i bother with that queue for such a lackluster game? hell no, if i want to relax and chill with a friend that badly, i'll gift them risk of rain 2 myself and bring them on an infinite lol, or make them a league account so we can play aram. or hell, join them on planetside 2. Why 2v8 besides for the lols that last once. but you know what, if the couples out there wanting to be romantic serial killers want this game mode so badly, i mean, neither their opinion nor mine matters at all, but hey, my contract says that i have to mention how i'll be happy for them if it's made permanent, please don't ban me reddit mods thank you 🤣🤣
