I have to say this has been quite an entertaining currently inked I've watched in a long time and thanks so much for not matching the inks to the pens love that! Thanks for the fun!!!

Thank you! I will occasionally match them, but mostly I just grab whatever pen is available and ink it up. Sometimes I don’t even clean them out… 🤭

U have to unscrew the plunger before writing. This helps like with the blurping & stuff since the plunger stops the ink going to feed when closed. Same mechanism in Opus 88, twibi vac filler & pilot custom 823. Just try unscrewing the plunger a little. U should have a podcast because I can listen to you scolding inks a lot. Such beautiful voice,

I will try that. I also have two TWSBI vacs I never use because of the same reason. Too lazy to look up why, I guess! And I've always hated my voice, but I suppose most people do. Thank you!

@@AsToldbyJoey oh no you have a lovely voice joey. The vac fillers are amazing for flight I heard and hold a lot of ink

Vac pens need you to open the chamber when you write because they only have a little amount of ink in the feed. I always open my vac pens before writing if I am writing more than one page.

Thank you! I will do that. Not sure why I never looked into it before...

ohhhh these look so cool! Do you have recommendations for people just getting into fountain pens/ink?
@AsToldbyJoey7 ай бұрын
The TWSBI Eco and Lamy Safari are probably the two most recommended starter pens. I prefer the TWSBI, but you can easily change out the Lamy's nib if you want to try different sizes. As for inks, Pilot and Diamine are great brands to start with. Until you're used to cleaning out pens and unclogging them, I would shy away from shimmer inks. They're SO pretty but can be a total pain. And I notice sheening inks tend to smear a lot. Let me know if you have any other questions! I can always point you to some useful resources too. I've been using fountain pens since 2017, but sometimes I still feel like a beginner. 😅
