Having followed you for a while now I have to say that this video is a perfect specimen for anyone who hasn't seen your videos before. It has all the things that make your videos your videos and above else gives us a glimpse into life in Japan. Also I really liked the relaxed feel of the clips you used. The edit ties it all together but the unscripted feel of the clips is really awesome. Not that scripted and well organized is a bad thing but in this type of video the more relaxed feel works even better.

BAAAAARILLIANT TIME-LAPSE INTRO!!! Absolutely ACE music as well (I actually thought it was you saying, "Hit it, boys...") I subbed a while back, I think during the last few months you were in Singapore, and I've been looking forward to each new vlog with eager anticipation! :) I don't think it matters so much that you can't make a reasonably long vlog each time, because in the end, each one is about your experiences, and so whether it's a mashup over several occasions/events, or about a weekend trip, or over a few days, each one is so uniquely captured and re-told from your perspective (with the awesome footage, obviously!), that it allows viewers like me to have those same views, vantages and perspectives, with almost every nuance and spark that you captured. A lot of KZbinrs add lots of facts and stats and stuff that detracts from what a vlog ought to be about....the video content, but you keep giving us amaaaazeballs scenery, panoramas and drone footage that would anybody just sit and go "Whoa!", purely because of the scenes that you've tried to capture as completely as possible. You make it feel like we're right there with you, seeing and experiencing all these awesome places at the same time, so thank you for that! And yes, I'm waiting for 'Peanut butter'! ;)

I find the varied content you post enjoyable and the over all by product is educational. You spoke on your personal tribulation dealing with you epidermis. I know what that is like during a 21 day performance run of the Nutcracker and putting on and removing for two a day shows wreaks havoc with the harshness of stage makeup. It took some time for my skin to fully recover. When I’ve seen actors and actresses around dance studios rehearsing for upcoming show I was taken aback, because I didn’t recognize them without makeup, and I could see etched on their face where they applied it, noticing the negative affects and toll it had on their skin. So I wish you well. As you went about your day going from place to place I am really impressed with the landscape architecture done all around the path you walked along. It was artificial, but it was designed with the natural flow of the terrain, which was very beautiful to see, and had a calm and tranquil ambiance. The only thing missing was the sound if any of the wildlife such as birds. Please don’t apologize for the content you post. It’s all well produced and pleasing to watch. Oh here is an unsolicited suggestion. A US tech review company has offices for the Singapore and Australian area called C/NET. See if your vblog can be geared to be a part time content provider for them in the Japan area. They review a broad spectrum of information.

This kind of video is nice too! Like you said, it has a feel to it that it is more for the subscribers you already have. The timelapse at the start was cool! Thanks for showing the match and also for showing the typhoon and earthquake, the latter two are not exiting but getting to see these very real parts of daily life in Japan is something I appreciated. Lastly for the skin talk, I agree so wholeheartedly with you! People love to give advice in good nature but unfortunately we do not all have the same skin. Thus I give no advice, I simply want to say I am happy to hear you are seeing a dermatologist. In my case it was the only thing that helped; I hope you get to see the results you desire, too. i feel you with the " skin comments" , i know people are just trying to help but its not like we are just chilling enjoying our acne, people with skin problems are actually very conscious about it and by giving unwanted advise you are just making us feel even more aware that we have it ...so ...PLEASE..just look at everything else about a person and dont focus your attention in people's " imperfections" be it weight or acne or whatever . ( im spanish so im sorry if i wrote anything wrong)

The beautiful thing about youtube is that you find new voices, those voices take you to places you have never seen before. For me I love travel vlogs but its the lens of the vlogger that is interesting, they become part of the narrative. I came for the video on the feiyutech gimbal, but I subscribed because of your perspective of the world around you. That and some kick ass cinematography.

Hi Hannah! I'm new to you channel, but I already love your videos. Compared to some other J-vloggers I can see how much work (and talent!) you put into making them. Not sure if you're reading comments now with more than 100 k subscribers, but I just related so much to your skin problems and I wanted to share my story. I also live in Tokyo and have been struggling with acne for more than 10 years. Mine are most certainly hormonal acne, cause I did not have them when I was on the pill (2 years). I am vegan for more than 3 years, eating the cleanest diet I can, not stressed, slowly getting rid of all the chemicals in my house, tried all the creams/medicine/you name it - nothing has helped. Went to the local dermatologist - they put me on antibiotics (pills and cream) for 2 months - the skin improved, but it did not cure anything. BUT! I recently found a clinic in Daikanyama called Daykanyama parkside clinic, that specializes on treating acne, and they mainly use Chinese traditional medicine （漢方）. It's basically like a powder made from roots of different plants, so it is supposed to be much easier on the body than antibiotics. I stopped antibiotics, and started taking kanpo #50 (the doctor said it's the best for my type of acne) and in A WEEK they started disappearing. It's been 3 weeks now and I my skin has NEVER since puberty looked so clean. I feel like it's some kind of a miracle, because I've been pretty desperate and tried everything, but I guess a certain combination of plants fixes something in the body. They also took a blood test in that clinic (it's the first thing they do when you go there with acne) - mine was perfect, so we did not really figure out the underlying cause of acne yet, but dammit that Chinese powder really helps. I know you said you don't need any advise on your skin issues, but I wish someone had told me about that clinic earlier, so I decided to give it a shot. Hope it reaches you! All the best

If you have a tight schedule and still want to travel, i recommend taking the train to yokohama and enjoy a day or a half day there. There is a lot of stuff to be recorded there! And its not far from tokyo at all.

I've been using Clinque since I was 13. Never had any bad breakouts or anything (a few pimples here and there when I was younger). I feel really lucky to have great skin. On a daily basis I do not wear makeup. However my younger sister did get really bad acne... and now has scars which I think she might be really self conscious about, and when she started wearing makeup would apply it so thickly. We had to remind her to be comfortable in herself and to maybe wear a little less makeup. Everyone is different and even with the same family genes humans can be vastly different. So just be comfortable in yourself!

As someone who grew up in New Zealand the earthquakes in Tokyo this year has not really caught my attention. It is fun watching people from Australia etc experience them because even the smaller ones are made out like a big deal (which is perfectly fine, it is a new experience so the inner kid who has never seen something before comes out, I’m like that with snow). However, having said that, you should always think about everything in your apartment “What if there is a large earthquake that will move things? Will this glass fall off the shelf and smash on the floor? Will my TV fall off the cabinet? Could my whole cabinet topple over?” And so on. At 100 yen stores you can buy sticky pads to help secure lighter objects that you don’t move to one spot. There are also braces/cables that you can buy to hold things from falling over. Osaka and Hokkaido had a bigger earthquakes this year resulting in households with shattered porcelain/glass all over the floor, injuries etc. All we got so far in Tokyo in 2018 is gentle swaying. The opening hours for the place you tried to go to that was closed seems to be sporadic. More likely it would be closed if you don’t know the opening hours prior to going. I suggest checking their website (should be easy enough if you don’t read Japanese, just use google maps and go to their website from there)

Currently Hannah yes and also sometimes its just a reminder that no matter how much you try it still doesn't get better... or that its usually an advice for a solution that you just cant afford financially. sometimes they mean well but there are a lot of factors that come into play even weather (especially for skin and chronic pain) and for really healthy people they don't know how our conditions affect us psychologically even though we look fine on the outside. but really your skin is looking good hannah and thanks for showing this side of you and always keeping it real =)

I can totally relate to your skin issues! I've been dealing with similar acne for a very long time. Nothing ever worked for me until I went on antibiotics. I've been on antibiotics (specifically doxycycline) for a while now and my skin has cleared up soooo much. The only problem with taking it though is as soon as I stop taking it, my breakouts come back haha :-( good luck with your skin!!!

I know exactly what u mean about the advice thing, like, I’ve been living with severe acne for more than a decade, do ppl rly think bullshit advice like “just use teetree oil, coconut oil, vinegar or some other random ingredient i found online, it’ll go away for sure!” Or “just don’t wear makeup” or “just let a peacock breathe on your skin during a fullmoon every fortnight” or whatever other stupid tip theyve used on their own pimple or two (that probably would have gone away without any help). As if ppl with acne haven’t already tried everything. If there was a miracle cure it wouldnt be “a secret method” for sure. Also, I’ll never understand why ppl need to point out stuff like that anyway, as if we dont know. As they say “if a person can’t change it in within 5 seconds, don’t point it out to them” Nice editing btw!

Boy do I get this. My daughter has a problem with her skin and she even gets upset when her mother tries to give her advice. It has turned into a HUGE fight more than once and my wife still tried to give the advice. I have learned over the years that it's a subject you just want to leave alone, at any cost. Even if the person who is having a hard time with their skin broaches the subject first, just let'em talk but don't bother chiming in. The don't want you to speak, only listen.
