Currents has variety, their albums are very different to eachother and here is a little overview: Life//Lost, their first real release sounds a lot more like deathcore, and just goes all in with the heavy, no clean vocals, but really good riffs The Place I Feel Safest :their debut full lenght album is pretty heavy, but very unique. Cool song structures, amazing weird guitar riffs and a vocal style all over the place. Rythmic screaming, talk screaming, fry screaming, growls, cleans its all there. I Let The Devil In : EP with 5 bangers which have two of their biggest songs and slays all the way. Kind of an evolution from TPIS into something less heavy and incorporates more cleans. The Way It Ends : their second full lenght album which has Kill The Ache on it sounds a lot more like normal metalcore. Huge choruses, insane breakdowns as always and more generic song structures.

@@Roguenjosh not at all. It's really good. I recommend Better Days and Second Skin from their newest album
@Ober1kenobi3 жыл бұрын
@@Roguenjosh I would recommend the whole album. There’s some very good structure and ideas that are only touched on which is a shame, but having it sprinkled through out instead of going full Periphery mode, was a safe idea, but it also worked, for me atleast.

This song gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. Proof that metalcore is more than just heavy music and screams, it's emotion and passion.

Hoping for them to tour Melbourne! Purchased The Way It Ends earlier this year and super chuffed they recently released the instrumental version. Really like the ambient sound they've incorporated, reminded me of Dream on Dreamers.
