Fantastic review of what appears to be a fantastic product. Great instruction on set up and alternative methods of suspension.

A layer of Reflexit between the layers works great to keep the breeze off and heat in.

Those nylon ties DD supplies with their hammocks wicks water like crazy when it rains and even drip lines don't help....will leave you soaked. If you insist on leaving it in, make it loop by cutting the ends with a fisherman's knot at each end, the loop poking out should be a bit bigger than your fist.. Add a cari uner and get some daisy chain tree huggers and you're sorted. Add whiopie slings and do away with the nylon webbing altogether and add your caribbiner and Daisy Chain tree huggers and you'll have an awesome system. I've done exactly that to my Frontline, Best and Frontline XL and they're now so easy to set up each time I'm out and super wast to adjust. Another tip.... Tie some paracord to the inner zips on both sides almost the length of your body....tie at the zip one end and again at the other end. Then rather than doing situps each time you get in and out, you can hook your toes inside the paracord and push down with your foot to open. Then once you're in, you can pull the paracord and zip up from the furthest end. Saves a lot of hard graft doing up and undoing the zips. Hope this helps

going to get one of these soon . I thought I would be in no hurry to swap the suspension system , but now that you said they wick like a crazy thing . I will swap em out before it pisses down . thanks with the zip , when they are closed are you left with a meter or two of parracord lose inside your hammock or is there a way you deal with the slack cord too ?
