In this video we go over the Steph Curry budget shoes in the mid tier pricing - Curry UA HOVR Splash 2:
This colorway is part of the Sour Patch Kids pack that released along with the Curry 10 & Curry 1 Low Flotro, a very dope collaboration featuring bright candy colors. Performance wise, everything is great about this shoe except for the traction on dusty courts. For those who need an excellent grip for your movements, unfortunately this aspect could be a turndown. However, the full-length HOVR cushioning feels amazing on feet, nice heel compression and smoothness in its court feel. The HOVR Splash 2 fits true to size.

On a clean well kept court you won't have any issues. I have this shoe and have been using it on the same court for the past 2 weeks. I hoop 6 days a week so they've had some rubber traction wear/fraying but they stick to the floor great.

Finally!!!! Waited this review for a longggg time!!!! Sucks that, THAT version which looks sooo amazing doesn’t squeek… the one i tried did…. Which ones better this or dames 8 and or dames explicit(forgot lol) ??

Right traction is the only downside… Umm I’ll take the Dame 8 if it’s for a good deal. Otherwise the Dame Certified, it’s hard to pick cause I really love the cushioning and court feel on these but the traction just doesn’t do it for me especially cause I mostly play on dusty courts. Maybe another colorway like you said would have been better.

Flow tech is only good for clean court. I suggest you buy the curry 7 if you want ultimate traction by far the best curry shoe for dusty courts

Hey. Jordan One Take 3 / One Take 4 is super light, good traction and court feel. Just not much of bounce to it at all. The Trey 5 X and Kyrie Low 5 might be decent too.

Hey. 3Z6 for me, Micro G midsole feels awesome and affordable option with the same outsole / traction pattern. But from this line I’d say the HOVR Splash 2, extremely comfortable on feet. From my experience the traction was pretty bad on dust with this Sour Patch Kids colorway, but other ones work fine as I heard. The HOVR Splash 3, traction is better but overall I’d still take the 2 for amazing comfort.

Also I'm looking for PG 6 and Dame Certified. I've tried the last of these and I have to say it's not really for me, instead PG 6's I know are enjoyed by manu people but that look doesn't convince me. 😕

I’d say equal comfort level. These might even be better cause it’s such a smooth ride… But the PG 6 is for sure a better shoe overall with much better traction.

Probably not the best option, from HOVR Splash & 3Z5 to 3Z6 to these, the rubber compound seems to have become softer, but I’ve never used these outdoors so might not give you the best answer here.
