Yea it tends to happen when people don’t lock onto his head during the fight. One of the most epic spectacle fights in all these games. Not just spectacle for a show but he fights very fun and really is meant to be fought head on hitting his head. Best dragon fight in all these games imo

That was great, loved the Bayle fight and so glad you went back and found Igon. The path you found to the spirit spring that took you to the back of the fort you'd already been to is worth remembering for future playthroughs, it lets you get to Scadu Altus without having to fight Rennala, so you can get many more fragments etc before having to fight bosses.

Martin character reminds me that when I was playing I kinda made the connection of Igon/Aegon and Bayle the Dread/Balerion the Dread, Aegon the Conqueror’s dragon. just a magnificent episode, from "you probably have to go down some cave to get there" to your reaction to seeing just where the jagged peak trail was taking you. top shelf! 🎉🎉🎉 also,quite possible you noticed in editing, but ancient dragon man hunted drakes, so his sword is great against 'new dragons' but sassanach (or whatever) is an ancient dragon, so that's why it's not as effective ☺️

One thing about dealing with the skeletons and other things that live in death...... I keep my Uchigatana with sacred blade on it for those fights.. The holy damage does a lot of damage to them and when you kill them with either the blast from the weapon or the weapon itself while it's still glowing yellow, they stay dead. You don't have to hit them again before they get up. You could also use the Bloodhound's Fang and put holy grease or the incantation that does holy damage on it (or any other weapon you can buff).

I am not sure, but I don't think you have been in the red area you saw from the big dragon's wing. I think that's the only way to get there, I could be wrong about that though, but still pretty sure you haven't been there because I didn't see any of the Grace sites on your map when you had it up.

I tell you what, if you wanna experience another Souls Like game you should try Helldivers 2. It's just as easy to die in except you have lives, and the ragdolls are absolutely hysterical. Though all your weapons are ranged, but that doesn't really matter when the horde descends upon you. All jokes aside, I recently found your channel and have loved your content so far. Am I missing earlier context where you just don’t lock onto enemies-or dragons, specifically? You-and your audience-missed a lot of the fight by fighting underneath Bayle. This fight is designed for the player to lock on. Really makes the fight more cinematic.
