Yeah, but the problem with that in this case is that now the thumbnails of all the Cursed Commercials videos have Chad in a suit he won't wear until 13 episodes in and a character who won't appear until the same number of episodes. Kinda feels like an odd choice.

@@mannduh2430 I want to imagine that the people writing the commercial went up to their nerd coworker who they always treated like s**t, then asked the coworker "hey nerd what part of the brain controls taste and smell?" and the coworker said "the amygdala" in hopes that this exact joke could be made.

The commercial is actually somewhat accurate, in that the amygdala IS involved in taste and smell. Yes, the amygdala primarily handles fear, but that's not the only thing it does. Smells are handled by the olfactory bulb, and when traveling to other areas of central command for processing, odours take a direct route through the hippocampus and amygdala, which are the regions related to memory and emotions. This is the reason why smell is so closely linked to memory. Granted, I doubt Kellogg's actually knew these things, considering their use of the phrase "taste and smell sector", which is not an accurate way to describe the amygdala due to the fact that it implies the amygdala's primary purpose is to handle taste and smell, so they probably didn't do their research, but it's still kind of impressive.
