Angelo a SPANISH DONKEY IS A TOTURE DEVUCE, it was used in as early as the 1600s. The 1st variation of the Spanish donkey was a triangular device sometimes with saw blade attached to the one point of the triangle that is facing upwards. Standing up like a saw horse type stand, the victim is lower onto the top triangle where they are to sit with their crotch on the blade. To keep the prisoner on they would sometimes tie their feet together, but they would always hang weights or large rocks from their ankles to keep them on the Spanish donkey device, and sometimes punishment would last for days...sick right. Its crazy that your spirit talker said ancient and then said SPANISH DONKEY. Do u think that is how they died...if I died that way I would be angry and want to pace back in forth in my afterlife also.

The figure you show walking between the pillars looks exactly like the shape from one of Jas and Ben’s investigations. The one where they captured a face in the window of the front door and Ben points out the figure (looks identical to the one you captured). I can’t remember which episode it is but it was the one with a little green frog decoration/chime hanging on said door/window of door. So weird! Glad you posted this one today I’ve been looking forward to your point of view from this place!

I saw Jas' video of this place... Good grief what a place... Crypt under the floor... Yikes wiith the willies... Fascinating dude, John... all his interesting artifacts. Nice he gives 'voice' without prejudice to so many different cultures and religions... Ol Genghis is the tip of the iceberg. Spanish Donkey or Wooden Horse was a Mideival torture device used in Spain, Germany and in America. A person could be mounted with weights on the ankles. It was two planks of wood. They would sit in a mounted position. Their hands were tied behind their back. They would have to remain in that position for hours. I looked it up. Some people may have been tortured in that monastery at some point in time. The Spanish donkey was used in America in the colonial period and the 1800s. History can be brutal.

Hello Angelo and Jasko, what a crazy haunted place and the Haunted Donkey the spirits mentioned on the spirit box is like *He!! No I Believe I Will Pass!! I didn't know what one was until I read @harmonythibodeau described it. I'm so glad that I didn't live in those times. Maybe some of the spirits died that way, if you remember the spirit box also said pain and you asked the spirits knew how the person in the crypt died, maybe that was the answer. Angelo at 1:26:32 it sounded like childrens crying or screaming in Jasko 's room while he was talking and Guys that is a taxidermied possum dudes not a raccoon but it looked scary anyway. Maybe it's haunting spirit is there too.😮👀👻🤫🥺🐀 lol. Guys take care and be careful and safe.
