This is exactly like my nightmare I had as a kid but I was with a friend and we were jump-front flipping around before we got lost and I was alone on a harbor. Then I saw a creature chase after me until the horizon and all around me was nothing but a flooding horde of Creatures that could not be reasoned with in terms of geometry (Impossible shapes) slowly start to follow me into a lighthouse and then all went dark as I could feel what felt like infinite numbers of cold,slimey and some sharp and hot textures all over me and I would scream crying awake. It's been 4 years now, and I can still recall every single moment in that nightmare.

A comment already mentioned this before but there’s 3 mistakes our character made: 1. They turned off the lights once he entered the apartment. The face noticed this and turn towards that direction 2. They looked out the window, giving the face confirmation that they were in that specific room. 3. Didn’t change place after they saw the face running into the building they were at. (Ex: different room)

I think what adds another layer to it is unlike the other chase videos, other locations feel connected to the rest of the world, like there’s a continuation to the landscape. This one, it feels like this place IS the world and there’s just nothing else: these Soviet buildings, you, and that face. It’s just another level of the inescapability and the feeling of your imminent doom.

One of my worst nightmares... Looking out the window, and watching some hideous creature from afar thinking you'd be safe with just sneaking a peek, when suddenly you get spotted and it immediately starts taking the absolute fastest path towards you with inhumane precision and speed, and you just know that you have to immediately run towards it to get to the nearest possible fork in the path and just hope you're fast enough to get there before it reaches it. But you cant move because you're scared shitless, and once you realize what you gotta do and get moving its already too late to get there before it does, so you just fumble around in anxiety and desperation, awaiting the inevitable... trapped in a dead end. Dont know why, but this is absolutely terrifying for me

So.. I actually had a reoccurring nightmare for about 5 years when I was a child of almost this exact thing. It was awful, literally cursed, and traumatizing. I never told my family or parents about it or that it kept me up several nights a month. Eventually I.. "beat" the dream, kind of like a game. But I had to scream at them to shatter them. All took place in my grandparent's old Victorian house and the faces would primarily appear in all of their windows that were tall and oval shaped. Really, quite awful.
