I’m currently living in Japan and have seen the volcano pizza. At first I too was under the impression that it was a pizza baked to hold the cheese. However, that is wrong. They literally make a pizza with a hole in the middle, put a cup in the middle and cover said cup with cheese. Disappointing meets dissatisfaction to create the volcano pizza.

For those that don't know judging by Peeps confusion. During Lent Christians(not all Christians some groups don't take part in Lent) don't eat any meat on the first Wednesday when it starts and then every Friday until Easter. Fish on the other hand is the only exception to this rule which is why McDonald's made a fish sandwich.

@@gokuxsephiroth4505 honestly I wasn't fully sure myself(I am Catholic but I wouldn't consider myself super religious) so I just looked it up. It's apparently its not considered meat in the same sense as of animals in religious groups. I think it says it's because fish are cold-blooded and not warm blooded creatures.

4:42, if you're curious, Lent is a time of fasting that lasts from Ash Wednesday to Good Friday, it lasts for 40 days and 40 nights and usually starts late February to early march , during this time observers are not supposed to eat any kind of meat on Fridays (some people don't eat meat at all as a personal scrifice). McDonalds fish fillets are a very popular option during this time of the year as it is an easy dinner on Fridays

I'm so confused by that pineapple in a burger thing. Like yeah the one without meat is a bit silly, but do people never put pineapple into their normal burgers in USA? Because where I live that's not even controversial, it's just a common thing no one bats an eye for. Also that Double Down Hotdog looks nasty, but mayo on a normal hotdog? That's exactly how I prefer to eat them!

The chizza honestly doesn't seem weird at all to me haha. Here in argentina we have a dish called Milanesas (which I think americans call Schnitzels, basically the same thing, it exists in a billion countries with different names) and a very popular way to eat is is "milanesa napolitana", which is a milanesa, with tomato sauce, cheese (usually mozzarella, sometimes others) and slices of tomato. Basically the same thing except they put in pepperonis because americans seem to link pizza with "pepperonis" the most. The indian version looks like the best, with bell peppers? sounds delicious. I'd never eat it with my hands though 😆

People being weirded out by the pickle slushy is so odd to me. I grew up playing sports in the southern US (so it was normal for there to be 100 plus degree Fahrenheit days) and they would give us pickle juice popsicles to keep us from getting cramps. They are really tasty to me and I have a ton of nostalgia for them.

Re: nacho cheese and pizza isn't a thing in the States -- I can't remember the name of it, but I distinctly remember Pizza Hut having a pizza that had two thinner crusts with a layer of cheese sauce between them (that together made the bottom crust of one pie, it wasn't a "stuffed crust" in terms of the edges, but it might have been called something similar). The cheese sauce was essentially nacho (not exactly, but orange and close enough). This was in the US in the 90s, but it didn't last long. It honestly wasn't that good. I could see dipping a pizza into a good nacho cheese being good, but that offering was not.

I was a chef at a Greek restaurant for a very long time and at one point I made an homage to the big kahuna burger from pulp fiction. I used a kings Hawaiian honey bun. Then I grilled a patty made of lamb, and then topped that with a grilled pineapple and a mixture of ricotta cheese and American white cheese.

I still remember when I worked at Sonic. I heard someone making the pickle plushie. The main thing I heard was gagging from the slushie area. If you ever want to ruin a love for pickles, try that. Or the pickle fries (not Fried pickles, like circular, think actual Pickle FRIES. They came on a burger called the Big Dill (with a special Dilly ranch which I actually think was really good). Pickle fries went soggy after like 30 minutes. (Although I think the ranch was amazing on Mozzarella sticks)

I have eaten, once, a double grandpa burger (3 patties originally) from A&W (a chain in Canada). I had seen that they were advertising that we could double the number of patties in any of their hamburgers, so I order doubled hamburger that ended up getting 6 patties 😂 I was the only one ordering at the restaurant, at the moment, so it was chill. The guys behind the counter were very amused by my order. A funny bit with that is that they didn't have a wrapper big enough for it, so they ended up putting it in a cardboard hotdog tray.

I remember that Cheez-It did a collaboration with another Yum! Brands fast food restaurant about 6 years ago, that one being Pizza Hut. It was basically a calzone where the crust tasted like, crunched like, and was shaped like a Cheez-It. I still don't really know if I truly enjoyed it or not, but I do know that I ordered it two or three times when it was available, so I must have enjoyed it somewhat. That or it was just that I was obsessed with the novelty and absurdity, which I absolutely was regardless. XD

Peebs, fried pickles don't just taste like a pickle in batter. It takes on a new flavor. It purifies a lot of what makes the pickle a pickle, and makes it a lot sweeter. Fried pickles are one of the best fried things ever probably. I'd recommend trying them.

I still like eating at Sonic every once in a while when I was a kid, my grandma and I would eat there when I saw her on the weekends. I still have my old Sonic toys in a big bag stuffed in the closet some are still kind of cool to me. I loved getting the ocean slush was great during the Texas summer.
