Experiencing this stream live was one of the most exhiliarating rollercoaster of emotions ever and probably one of my all-time favorite 8-Bit streams. That Memento Mori (level restart) in Halo came AFTER Jerod spent nearly an hour and a half on it, dying numerous times (largely because of his chat constantly donating for other incentives), and so having it come up after all that was probably the meanest thing I've ever seen on all of Twitch. The ONLY reason Jerod didn't finish last overall was that Raeal had an incentive to restart the entire run which was met. What a wild ride. Props to Cole for editing this one because I would've just kept the entire stream, it was all gold from start to finish.

Poor Jacob… 1:34 For those wondering how Homyk fell behind Jerod when he was in the lead, Homyk’s game crashed…and then he reloaded the level instead of the checkpoint so he had to go through all of Halo again too. For those who hadn’t seen it, Jerod knows what the Quad Laser is from the last time he played Cursed Halo to familiarize himself with it (the highlights are on this channel); he’d just always been on the receiving end since that’s what the Hunters in this game fire, so this is just pure catharsis for him. 2:24 It me! Also I made Homyk do the exact same thing only he had to go back to the first structure to go grab a Blunderbuss and go back. That or he died. That might’ve been what caused/forced him to die before Jerod flipped his Warthog. 3:48 Hey look at it this way. All those cool things you did would’ve likely never happened quite the same way had you kept the Warthog. 5:40 And this is why I stopped donating on Jerod’s side; this was already torture enough. No need to make it worse (when I could ruin someone else’s run instead. Plus there’s always next Colosseum for that). 12:33 Happy times indeed as Homyk curses someone for Memento Mori-ing him for a second time just as he was about to finish Assault on the Control Room. 18:05 I would’ve thought the Scarab Gun would be his favorite but this is really good too. 19:10 As was pointed out in the comments, Raeal had an additional donation incentive partway into the race where if he doubled his goal he would restart the whole game. Suffice to say, he more than doubled that goal. Not shown: Homyk having an aneurism because a last second Memento Mori threw him back into second place after he cheesed Two Betrayals using a “normal” Warthog. Also not shown: Jacob suffering through The Maw as everyone else in the race (except Jon who went on to play Super Rush for his normal stream) heckled him from the sidelines, Jerod included, so it wasn’t all suffering for the drummer man.
