Back in primary school, when we were taught to write like this- I couldn’t get the hang of it and didn’t really see the point so I’d just write normally and then go back and put in lines and loops to join them up and I thought I was being so slick, that they looked exactly the same. This video is incredible. Unlike other youtubers who just write and show a slogan or a quote, you wrote words from a to z and you also made sure that there is both capital and lower case in the word, like for the letter A you wrote Asian which had capital and lower case A instead of writing just apple... I never would have thought I'd be able to write as pretty as I do. It seriously makes a huge difference if you practice. My cursive has improved SO MUCH over the past year and a half since I started practicing calligraphy. It's hard and slow going but so satisfying when you nail a specific letter.

I learnt cursive in the first/second year of elementary school,and even though I always wrote essays and homework using it,it was always messy and unpleasant to look at. Only in these recent days I am worrying about my handwriting because I want to be more precise when taking notes in class. Right now I’m in the fourth year of high school (the next one is gonna be the last for me) and so I wish to not only have a better cursive and handwriting overall,but also to study better and in a more ordinate manner,since I missed a lot of high school notions due to various problems. What I love about this video is unlike the other cursive videos I’ve seen you’re not using one of those fancy-smanshy fountain calligraphy pens. I leaned cursive when I was about 10 at school but never heard it referred to as cursive until I was around 40. It's mandated in British schools now. Gove said everyone has to be writing joined up by end of year two iirc. So the first letterforms most kids are learning today are "pre-cursive" I e. I decided to learn it alongside my son and now I use it everywhere. It doesn't look like in this video, mind.

I can remember that my handwriting used to look like this and it was really good. But since I moved to a different country, nobody writes in cursive so I had to write in regular font because nobody could understand cursive writing and now my regular and cursive handwriting both look like dogshit.

my handwriting used to be soo bad. Since 4th grade, everyone expected improvement from me. 4 years passed. I got a new fountain pen, after I watched this and practiced for a few days, there i was.
