CURTAIN WALL STICK SYSTEM 2023

The Stick Type Curtain Wall System are significantly used in high-rise structures for curtain wall system design. Its is primarily composed of aluminum tubular as frames and steel plate as supporting base fixed to the slab, beams and slab soffit to make the frames strong and to hold the glass firmly, and resisting strong wind. It's also under the specialty contractor who are expert in the installation working in this system. Its also provided with the wind load computation to determine the thickness of the glass and other components attached to the whole frame system of the stick type curtain wall. ‪@arki-knows‬

I just noticed that you didn't introduce shimming on your shoe bracket, why? And your position near to the slab ledge, which is not allowed in safety rules, you have to have a harness clamp to the safety line. I'm sorry, but one more thing: Are the bolts installed for both the top and bottom dead load? It seems that the fixings are both dead load, which is not allowed, because of the slab deflection. Slab deflection tolerance has to be introduced. And the Argon gas has to be at least 90% and the air is 10%, not only Argon gas to be filled. A lot of safety rule violations! Lastly, using a chemical anchor bolt is not necessary, as this is very expensive, a normal anchor bolt will do.

@@user-ov4dw3yr5d Thanks for the good comment For the steel plate bolted connections they are fixed in the slab where underneath on it is the beam The plate rested in beam itself Now for the harness thanks for the concern and since im not hanging outside the building or doing any job outside the structure i didn’t wear it but thanks for the concern i’ll wear it next time Now for the argon concern its all with the design standards and parameters of window consultants and expert where wind load are primary considered and glass thickness are all computed based on how high and what floor they are installed they are varies in thickness based on the consultants specifications

@@arki-knows The shoe bracket, or I would say, the top and bottom bracket has to be divided into 2 types, dead load, and wind load brackets. You cannot have 2 dead load brackets in between slabs, as there is a slab deflection movement, which means they are constantly moving up and down, and this will cause squeezing of the frame, which might eventually affect the glass. This is the cardinal rule in the structural approach of the Facade. Thanks.

The safety line according to the safety rules, there must be a safety line installed at least 1 meter away from the ledge, and crossing there beyond, you should wear a harness and clamp to the safety line, so it doesn't mean you have to have it hang condiiton first before you use a safety harness. Just a piece of advise. Thanks
