He is not a quality player. Just average. A midfielder that can't spread passes, can't shoot, can't cross a corner, freekick e.t.c. The guy only knows how to slow game down.

Complete midfielder my arse. Can't tackle for shit. How often do you see him passing further than 10 yards? Klopp spent a lot of time on him. Getting him to pass more directly. Slot came and saw straight away that Jones takes too many touches. Players are instructed to pass to the team mates back foot so they bring the ball under control and then passing it with their next touch. Jones repeatedly took 3 touches. And most of the time pass backwards. He's improved a lot through Slot's coaching but if Grav, Mac A & Sboz are fit, he's on the bench. Unless rotated. Elliot is more talented. Bajecetic will be ahead of him next season once he's settled in. And Nyoni is knocking on the door. Jones has exemplary ability. But he lacks game intelligence.
