My hype for this game cooled down after playing the demo on the Steam Deck... I hope that, with this being an early build, they still get to improve things all around, but the general sensation was underwhelming. Graphically it is really good (especially once you disable the motion blur, which is horrible, and even though it runs horribly on the SD), but the gameplay needs refinement. The parry window has to be more consistent, and I don't see the point in being able to swap loadouts on the fly. Regardless, I still hope they'll resolve that and that the game will end up being good after all. But I definitely won't be buying this on release.

I saw a post that i think was from the official development team and they said the whole point of swapping loadouts is if you want to have a main build and another one for experimenting and such. Also yes they said they're working on optimizing the game for the better.

@@ntatzizouzedw1533 I think I still prefer the approach I saw in the Deathbound demo, which also features loadout swap on the fly, but throws in some interesting mechanics like independent (but linked) health per loadout, and special attacks if you swap mid-combo.

Free demos and trials should be on all games imo so that we can know what its like and if we want to buy it or not.
