I remember going to see Curtis Salgado and Robert Cray at the old Eugene Hotel on Saturday nights in the late '70's. Always the best show in town!

Where have I been, never heard of Curtis, he rocks the house. Circular breathing too.

The thing about Curtis is that he can be totally awesome just singing alone. Then he adds that mean harp and the world starts to melt.

The Dude smokes that sucker! 🎉 😅 👊 🤓 I am embarrassed to say I have never heard of him. That lack of exposure will not last long! THANK YOU Connie! I love having my mind blown in this manner! 🧡 🚀 🎶 😅

I remember him playing in Manson Washington a few years back. He's what made the whole festival worth being there.

Title help?
@keithrandall14925 жыл бұрын
Title? Often called That Ain't It (by Walter Horton and others) but originally called If It Ain't Me, and originally recorded by Jimmy Rogers in 1956.

The music is in G and he's playing a G harp, first position. Most ingeniously. At first I thought he was crossed to C, then playing a G for those third octave blow bends. But...no. All on the G harp. I've worked with Curtis many times. Thankfully, I never came on after him. :)
