This aircraft is a Curtiss JN4 Jenny from the non-profit organization "Friends of Jenny" in Bowling Green Kentucky. The interview was with C. Dorian Walker, JN4 Aviator "Friends of Jenny" Chair, Board of Directors. The event was the Tenth WWI Dawn Patrol Rendezvous 2016 at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force.
Please note: Some of the sound during the interview is from a radio controlled aircraft and is not intended to be the sound of the JN4 aircraft in flying scenes.

She's beautiful. You guys are doing an awesome job keeping her flying. I've been to the USAF museum 3 times and didn't see everything there

Beautiful Plane! Arguably the first practically usable planes ever produced.

My great grandfather used to drive 65 miles in a Model T to watch these birds fly out of Kinloch field, now Lambert International Airport. He wanted to fly. Great grandmother threatened divorce if he did..!

Thank you so much for saving this piece of history. Read in a book that the plane was used in 1918 during WWI in France. Amazing facts 65mph only to fly! WOW!

My grandfather trained in Champaign Urban and flew these in various locations. I have original photos with squadrons up above the clouds, American and French Generals Field Marshalls and hand drawn route maps with colored pencil.

Anybody else notice the C-130 on the restoration ramp? What's up with that? New display or being used for parts?

I wonder if you could get a reproduction made and I wonder if the original had seat belts so if you were doing acrobats up there you wouldn't fall out
