Arsenal has always been a top club, maybe their fans need to learn you can't just expect to be at the top. Wenger built the team to what it is, the success, the stadium, the staff, and when he struggled to compete with teams buying success like Chelsea and Man City he was turned on by the fans. The vast majority of which weren't even born when he took over the club... Let's not forget the standard of footballers has drastically dropped over the past decade, and before people start rattling on about fitness, half the players today should go into athletics if that's an argument because a lot of them can't play footie... Someone now pings an accurate 60 yard pass once and everyone wetting themselves at "his vision". Despite all of this Wenger kept arsenal in the top 5 consistently and even when they were struggling they played good football. You reap what you sow... And to be honest and fair with everyone, "THIS CLOUN IS THE ONLY MANAGER WHO SPENT A LOT OF MONEY AT THIS FOOTBALL CLUB, AND WHAT DID HE DO WITH AL THAT CASH?" I hate seeing how arsenal have become lately ..... Every time they make big signings they never seem to work out for them. I honestly thought under Arteta they were going to really improve..... Letting Arteta spend so much money have made it a very difficult job now for a new manager of they do come in..... There is just loads of average players after spending so much money u can't blame arsenal fans for getting to upset. Need someone more experienced than Arteta in urgently. Last season Pepe got a red, didn’t Arteta rinse him during his post match presser and didn’t play him afterwards for a couple of games? Man I think he’s in love with xhaka, begged him to stay, gave him the armband even after what he did, and when u think he’s finally off to Roma, he begged him to stay again and also rewarded him with a new contract extension also with a pay rise.
