Nice tester! I know these are almost always used with vintage scopes but I'd love to see what it looks like on your digital scope. Part II?

I didn't really look at the digital scope to see if it had XY mode. My plan was to print a pcb for this circuit that I could fit inside the scope and integrate and wire it directly into the XY section to where I'd never have to hook up scope probes for this again. I will look and see tonight if it does and try a part 2 if so!

@besamjohn Here's an update if you're curious. I did try running this with my digital scope. It does work but it's not quite as good. The refresh speed is very slow and it takes awhile for the screen to update. It might work decently with a high quality Tektronix scope, but mine is pretty low end.

Thanks for the update! I ended up buying an analog Tektronix. I agree, my digital scope is just slow and cumbersome.

@besamjohn Very nice! We got wiped out in the flood here in Appalachia. The room I filmed this in was almost completely underwater, but when I can get around to getting another lab setup I'm planning on buying a 500 series Tek scope. The only reason I like digital is being able to quickly see frequency, amplitude, phase and all of that

Sorry to hear that! Hope you build things back soon!
