you're not nuts. If you have symptoms, get tested!!

Thanks for this video. I been diagnosed w PCOS for years! I finally go to a endocrinologist and told I most likely have cushings.. testing now but it all makes sense now. As soon as you said you feel a burden to everyone I started crying. I really do especially when I’m not feeling and migraines keep me in bed all day. Feel useless and pathetic.

Also if you're able to put out a video that is oriented towards friends and family. I think that would be helpful for people who are struggling with Cushing's. Often are symptoms and struggles are overlooked or are dismissed, in some cases patently denied. But there's also this incredible physical, mental, and cognitive turmoil that results from this condition and it is honestly the worst thing I have ever experienced and let me say that I have been through many traumatic situations have PTSD and have lived through some incredible nightmares. But nothing comes close and nobody understands. So just at the time where we need support, the people we know aren't there and don't understand how to help

I’m newly diagnosed with CS, unsure of source as of yet, tests coming. But this is only thanks to my own research, which I learned earlier this summer, 15 years into my illness. Began at 17/18 and I’m 33. I almost died of a massive heart aneurysm in 2016 6m after I had my only son, and even then, it was missed. Said my heart event was congenital. Nope it wasn’t. Never heard of this spoon 🥄 theory. I’m desperate to learn more! And yes, I never shower. I mean I do, but maybe once a week. I’ve not gotten to the part about recovering or spoons or coping or managing. I’m only damn sure it’s Cushings and the cortisol tests say they agree. I do suspect mine may be cyclical as well, but am not certain. Thank you for sharing and spreading awareness. Had I known sooner....so much suffering would have been avoided. Ugh.

Thank You for sharing your story love you're so strong . I am not sure if I have Cushing yet I was diagnosed of pituitary tumor/Prolactinoma had it for years now yet live a normal healthy lifestyle , I maintain my weight . Tho that change a month ago my body start feeling heavy I still look normal but my body feels really heavy , bloated , gassy , lost a significant amount of hair. I feel so frustrated :(

They shifted. A lot of them are way better, but I also have PCOS, and I had to deal with the drop in cortisol. So it was just different.

Do you need a referral to see an specialist that will test for Cushing disease? Wich specialist should I see? I have all the symptoms you do and even feel like I am dying at times. I was diagnosed with VKH syndrome and taking prednisone 60 mg now for 7 months but feel that I’ve developed Cushing. My primary care makes me feel like I am crazy and won’t test. They also will not lower my dosis. 🥺

you would want to see an endocrinologist - some require referrals, some don't. If your primary is treating you that way, I'd def get a new one
