Roho back in the day before they started manufacturing in China made awesome cushions that lasted forever. Today they are basically disposable and I am constantly getting replacements sent out to me. They are garbage these days. Now don't get me wrong- when it's not slowly losing air it's a great cushion. Unfortunately each replacements starts losing air eventually. I'm not super fat and keep my cover on it. Still tho.

I hear ya... the last couple I have gotten aren't too bad! Sounds like you already do this but I used to not keep a cover on mine and I feel like when I was more diligent about that and also not sitting on my keys! lol it got better for me.

I use the Rojo Quad. I do wish there was something better but I haven’t found anything. My needs are the same as yours and everyone else’s: support, stability and comfort.

Hey I I found a cheaper purple cushion on Amazon that’s lower profile that doesn’t make me tip over lol when I use off my wheelchair and I just use that when traveling or sitting on the ground etc!

I have been using a foam cushion for three years and I think I need a better pressure relief cushion already. I’m thinking of getting the roho Quattro one...would you recommend it? Also I just stick to my foam cushion because when I get another cushion it throws off my wheelchair adjustments

The quattro is I believe what I have! its a great cushion, as far as throwing off adjustments, trying getting a mid or even low profile roho as that may be closer to the height of your foam cushion

Ever heard of tried Aquila self adjusting cushion? It actually self adjusts every 60 seconds I think 🤔..it’s to simulate a wound care mattress so that a person who has existing wounds can stlll get the benefit of an air mattress or alternating pressure mattress and still be able to have a life out of bed. I M trying all I can to get my moms ins to pay for one. They have three models depending on the patients partícular needs, as they are customized. My moms ROHO would bottom out all the time or as it is static air it wouldn’t relieve pressure so her sores got worse. Aquila are expensive(1800-4K)and the company doesnt work one-on-one with Medicare although they say Medicare pays for quite a few that they sell. Just online looking for someone who has had one who can tell me if it’s been worth the purchase price.

I’ve been using a Jay 2 Deep cushion for years but we are going on vacation where it’s extremely hot. I tried Roho but felt like I was being bounced around on a bouncy ball and it felt so unstable it made me think I would fall. I love my fluid gel but they sure get hot. I just don’t know what else to look at. I have looked at Exgel and they look great but finding one in the US is not easy. It’s a Japanese company.

@@AdaptedAdventures Hi Casey! No, I have not. I did pick up a Vicair to try, still waiting on it to get here. I do love my Jay2 Deep that I have on my Permobil. Of course it’s pretty hot especially in the summer but the pain reduction is the most I’ve found. Do you feel like you’re going to fall off the Roho at all?

@@brittanylevinson741 I tried a roho on my sports chair once and it didn't give me enough support for that but for my everyday chair the quad chamber one is good i used to have a single chamber which admittedly was more unstable i prefer the one i have now and dont feel like i would slip off of it

The ROHO Quadtro is a high profile cushion...you said 'mid profile'. I'm in Canada and the Mosaic has such a bad name, it's not allowed to be sold in this country...it's a mid profile one. In Canada, there is no insurance, it comes out of your pocket.

Correction...the ROHO comnes in low, mid and high profiles.
