My 1956 730-20 looks just like yours. The motor is under the seat, just one belt straight back to the gearbox, no jackshaft. The box is full of 2 large 12V batteries.

I’m sure mine had battery powered as well but a lot of hands been in there before me

they were all electric as far as i can tell not alot of info out there
