Fun fact about the "bastard wasn't originally an insult": William I of England, before becoming William the Conquerer or King William I, was known as William the Bastard for being conceived by assault outside of marriage. It's amazing to me that there are insult words for women with children born out of wedlock and the children themselves, no matter if the act leading to the child was the mother's choice or not, but there isn't a word for the guy who deserts the woman and child.

@@caroline-hh9os honestly, if you're not getting enough sleep it's nearly impossible. If you're no longer working nights and need to transition back to normal sleep tho all you gotta do is stay up all day and do stiff so ir tired by the end of the day and you will crash out and either wake up refreshed or wake up feeling not that great but after the second day you feel better

This will be an interesting topic. I've been thinking about cuss words myself lately as I feel like I'm watching one come to life for the first time ever in my 30 years of life. And that word is...."Karen". I was just saying to my kid "watch this be a word that isn't allowed to be used in school anymore soon" because they littery use it to bully people now. And if you think about it the word is basically a replacement for the cuss word "b*tch". Almost all cuss words had an original meaning that was not a cuss word before it became one. Nobody just makes up a random word for an insult. I'm only 5mins into the podcast but I can't wait to see where this is going.
