For push they just need to make it more like a tug of war. If one team has 3 people on and the other team has 1 it should be moving for the team with 3. The bot should be moving constantly and it makes no sense to me that 1 person can delay 5, especially since the game mode gets harder to push as you get closer to the enemy spawn.

This is what I was thinking as well. When the bot is neutral (not at either barrier) it should require more people to stop the bot. like you said, if you just got control of the bot and you're going through the middle and you have say 3 people on it, the now defending team should need at least 3 to stop it, not just have your tracer or lucio or w/e tap it a few times and drag the path out 30 seconds every time it switches.

I pixelcounted Custa and I can confirm 60 CPS (Custas per second). Edit: If you record your videos, can you set a little higher quality (Higher CQP / VBR)? KZbin doesn't do 1080P uploads any favor. (Oldschool YT trick: upscale the video to 1440P if necessary to get better KZbin encoder settings.) 1440P / 1080P upload does make A HUGE difference.

Sirmajed death statics are high, but mayhem almost played 4 maps in every game / 5 sometimes / Dalls had 3/0 so the stats / Fielder vs Majed are not that accurate for the main point

Push rework The bot in the middle becomes a check point that needs to be capped (like the start of control) The team that caps the bot get a point and becomes the attacking team and the other team becomes the defending team. The attacking team has X amount of time (ex. 4min) to push the bot as far as possible. If they reach the first checkpoint they get one point and if the reach the end they get another point but if the defending team can stop the attacking team from a full completion they get a point. After the 4 min the round starts again and first team to X amount of points wins (ex 5) but a team can't get their winning point from defense Also the bot would walk back slower than the current speed (more like how a payload goes back on hybrid)

Look none of these games have super unique mechanics as they would of took inspiration from stuff like LoL and TF2 in which those games would have been inspired by other stuff. Everyone takes stuff from everyone else, that’s how games get better but taking a whole ass game mode from Paladins would be next level shit as that’s a bit more then just taking and expanding upon a mechanic. What’s next, they gonna make a map with 3 lanes and a jungle lol? If you really think Paladins ripped off Overwatch then you have no idea how long making a game takes (I mean you’ve seen how long it has taken OW2 to develop) as well as you must also hold the opinion that Overwatch ripped off TF2. I wouldn't be surprised if they did move sombra in the direction of nerfing emp's damage and increasing its silence duration. That would fall in line with other changes they've made to hero's oppressive/annoying mechanics, such as Mei's freeze and Brig's overhealth/armor. They remove that aspect from their neutral game but keep it in their ultimate.

For push I think respawns should be extended whilst the enemy is moving the bot, except when it gets to the last checkpoint for the defenders when it then returns to normal even when the enemy is pushing it

I think introducing a slight delay to respawn time could work. Like, make it based on proximity to the finish, the closer you've gotten your barrier the longer your respawn time is. This makes each kill progressively matter more when fighting back against the winning side and in general as the match progresses. Since this would be active for both sides it wouldn't randomly make the losing side have a gigantic advantage in cases where it's like, 56m to 43m, but would help in situations of 100+m to 50 or less in helping the team with the bot be able to get it to the other side without the need for too many fights. Alternatively, the suggestion of the bot having a speed boost relative to the amount of players on it when not pushing the barrie could work, again making it reposition faster. Lastly, maybe something like it was suggested in your stream comments, where the bot is constantly moving in the direction of the team with most players on it, scaling with however much the difference is. This would make teams have to decide how many players are worth sending on a flank, centralize fights on the bot and in general would help the mode feel like it's constantly with momentum.

How about on push, at any time you can expend an ult charge to make the bot reset at the middle ground? I foresee mad dashes to the center from a 80% push, and a fight while running back.

On push mode: I’d be kind of interested in potentially removing checkpoints entirely, making the timer 5 min, and having it be a best of three rounds. Yes you might be more snowballs, but a snowball in round one that results in a full cap doesn’t necessarily mean it’s over. You can recover. Might also consider hero locks after rounds, like elimination arcade modes. I’m all for the wacky shit lol Might not work in practice but I’d love to watch if tested out.

For push, front spawns should be deactivated as soon as the bot is pushed back past the first checkpoint, rather than when it reaches the middle

The best way to fix push is to put a capture time to have the control of the robot, the robot is like a point to capture before pushing the objective so that way the other team can't push the robot away to gain better times to contest. And maybe make the robot push a little bit faster? I don't know

For Push, I feel like the bot could give some kind of buff to the team that controls it while it's running in between the 2 objectives (you could potentially even only give it to the team that's behind). Your chat mentioned a speed boost, but it could also be something like damage reduction, healing (probably more than payload healing in escort), or even like a shield that incentivizes fighting on the bot.

To add to the 2cp talk the attackers can lose like 6 fights win 1 because 1 person on the enemy team got over confident and then snowball the next fight and end up with a 4 min time bank being 2 out of 8 in team fight wins.

Don't get me wrong im happy for them. But they have a pretty dang easy schedule. And both teams they beat seemed more confused than good. Like someone was literally playing Mystery heroes on the only tank. And Sirmajed has looked a lot less....good...than in Kickoff Clash....and he needs to not die. Then Toronto literally don't know what to play.

@@apollo9403 last stage? In a different meta. While the slate isn't wiped clean for teams. Florida performed much better last meta at their peaks. They look like pretty lost in this one as far as that goes. If I was like a huge London fan I would wonder what happens when my team plays the Outlaws again, or Shock, Gladiators, teams they WILL have to play once they get to the tournament. Not teams who seem to not even know what comp to play. That's one of London's biggest strengths imo. They know who they are and what they want to do. Makes them dangerous especially in fast meta changes.

What if the bot is capturable with a capture time, like koth? So after winning a fight, you could capture and go to a better position in the map and it would keep moving unless of course enemy team can get on it and contest it. Contesting would pause the bot's movement, though.NNot like koth where the capture percentage would keep rising towards the controlling team. TLDR; making the bot act more like a koth point in terms of capture is better than having pseudo-payload mechanics.

A really simple solution to the bot problem in push would be to have the bot on a moving platform instead of walking with enough space for people to get on like a payload. Then it can move faster on the move between the team barriers with an increase in speed that only activates after a few seconds on no contesting and depends on how many people are within a range to a maximum of 3. That way there's no need to mess around with individual speed boosts and it doesn't directly interrupt recontesting too much.

I think the problem with Push is the map layouts. These weird S shaped routes make that walk back so much worse. Make the bot push down one straight lane across the map, but put interesting and useful flanks all along the lane, along with a lot of cover and even straight up walls with archways to prevent snipers from getting clear sight lines across the whole map. Unfortunately, this will literally never happen because the devs made their bed with all the time and effort they've sunk into making these map designs.
