this play-offs was nuts for Justice fans. Perfect storm of putting their best 6 players on comfort picks, or near comfort, and being able to deal with the elephant in the room in the form of main tank being ignored. Taking Shock the distance (better than anyone else did in the end), making a crazy run, and if I remember right, Fusion had to come up with the double sniper counter-comp in like a day or two to deal with this.

Fusion had some double sniper and Ivy Mei based on the map; they forced the Justice onto Hog-Dva and 3-0ed. It's just sad that they couldn't pull it together on the final 4 :/

Shock definitely deserved to win the grand finals and they definitely were the dominant team that match, but there is definitely a world in which Seoul won Busan and the map rotation went back to assault, which Seoul was the better team on. Also Seoul handed shock their first Hanamura loss in 2 years and beat them on Gibraltar with Profit genji lol

Three matches I hope we get to see for the 2021 season vods: - Shock v Houston Week 1 - one of the best opening week games to a season I think we've ever seen - The best of the first two Shanghai v Dallas games in Hawaii - The best match in Atlanta's playoffs run (judging by the scoreline it might be their match vs Gladiators)

I think shock starting with dive during playoffs really helped them later on. They had a great hog look that they adapted to in this match, but also were really fantastic on the dive and brawl that was just better on other matches

15:30 stitch had a really good playoffs run, both on Ashe and I think on tracer aswell, most notably because allot of resources of course went into decay. I believe stitch had 2 bobs in 1 fight in the first map at some point

I think one reason Zen worked really well for the Shock is that it's more pocketable, so it makes more sense for Ans to play Widow instead of Ashe because the Mercy can pocket the Zen instead.

It also lets Zen put a harmony orb on Striker's Tracer allowing him to dominate the neutral game.

going on a rant here. always hated blizzard's playoffs patches. 2018 hanzo patch, 2019 sigma patch, and 2020 hog patch (glad they didn't do it in 2021 PO). they were so random and out of context. i don't mind bringing in big patches in like midway half of the season but changing the meta at the very end for the tournament where it matters the most is so wrong. how well or bad you did in the regular seasons never really mattered because playoffs were mostly about how lucky you get with the patches. also i don't know how a bottom tier team like washington justice was eligible to compete in the playoffs. sorry to the fans but a 4-17 team in playoffs is just ridiculous.

I just loved every interview with ark, the guy seemed to always be positive no matter the result and was always looking happy doing what he loved. Obviously that's my interpretation, could be totally wrong. Was sad he retired tbh even though outside his mercy it wasn't that great compared to rest of the league

There has been a leak about Chengdu, the org are having money issues, and due to that, Leave, Yveltal, Nisha, Mmonk and Farway1987 are all considering offers from different teams.

Does anyone know if Custa is doing any 2021? Or no time? Imo best Tracer's from last year: Leave, Fleta, Kevster, Danteh, Pelican, Profit. Like all these guys looked near Striker level last time he was playing Tracer or better. Coming up someone like Proper or Venom could join that list. These are who Striker will have to compete with to be the best Tracer in the league still. Historically he probably still is. But at this time hard to say.

2020 is by far my favorite playoffs. it was the only playoffs where i felt like almost every game was competitive (except philly in final 4 but i think that was do to the circumstances they had. not that i think theyd win with better circumstances. but i think theyd have looked much more competitive in their losses). even though shock were the favorites to win it all and repeat, it looked like several teams could dethrone them. and it all started with shock having to reverse sweep the justice, and almost losing in the 1st round of end of season playoffs for the 2nd time in a row

Overwatch players just have the worst memories ever lol. Someone in chat at one point said “decay was the 3rd best zarya in goats” and that’s just so far from true. Decay was disappointing on zarya in goats. He was good, not amazing. Top 3 zaryas in goats were 1) sinatraa 2) seominsoo 3) nenne, this is definitive lol.

Found it way better than this game and represented a more fine tuned version of this meta. If justice had made it, they would have been steamrolled by shock, dragons or Seoul unless decay somehow picked up sigma, dva and wrecking ball at a high level or decay becomes the hog player.
