Great video! My son has been to Custer and talks about it often. Looks like a beautiful place. That squeeze through Needles Tunnel looks scary too. I was looking for a giant snake but it was a goat!! What a treat to see. Thanks for sharing and bringing us along on this trip. Loved it!

Thanks for sharing our journey, Michelle. Custer State Park really is a beautiful place. The scenic drives, the hikes, the lakes, and the wildlife really make it a great place to visit. We loved seeing the mountain goat, but don't want to see any snakes- especially giant ones.

Last year we did Needles Highway and Mount Rushmore. I can't imagine you took the camper van through Needles Eye - but well done! We only had time to hike beautiful Sylvan Lake, but Cathedral Spires seems to be the more attractive hike. It put us in the mood to come back.👍👍🙂

It is definitely worth a second trip. Going through the tunnels in the camper van was certainly an adventure in itself. However, we did see a big tour bus going through in front of us one day. It made our camper van look small.
