I started with an Ecologist in Jupiter (Stalker Anomaly). I saw two of these guys just walking by the cement factory and I thought they HAVE TO BE friends with the Ecologists... I almost died, but long story short I left with 1 medkit and two bandages shorter and with some nice new rifles due to the Realistic Loot Drop mod.

I'm pretty sure that it's broken in a sense but I just don't buy weapons from traders, I just don't have to repair everything from the ground up, plus I use the Zone Customization Project that gives extra loot like more medical items and tools. I also play with Curse of Immortality, where you respawn when you die and you only have a 40% chance of recovering your items for money. And I'm not a good player and I die constantly, so easier comes.. easier goes..

Is this a mod? I think I ran into the enemies you fought in the ranger station in my game once. Not sure if they were the same guys (I was using the expedition graphic mod) I entered into Limansk and we spawned on top of each other at the entrance from dead city. They were wearing all black and speaking English over their radios. I couldn't catch what they were saying other than the word stalker. But they were definitely speaking English. Even now I've never fought any other NPCs like that in anomaly. They would flank and sneak around and we're really stealthy. I don't think I would have ever noticed them if we hadn't spawned on top of each other. They had mercenary patches but I've never seen any mercenaries like them in the game

And yes, Anomaly was definitely not out there 5 years ago. It's not like anyone ever played Anomaly ver 1.1 or anything. I mean the oldest downloadable version was released more than 4 years ago. Surely nothing existed before that and the mod just magically appeared out of an internet anomaly hence the name lol.

In my current playthrough of my own custom Anomaly, my faction which is Loner has formed an alliance with UNISG because of my prior hostile encounters with Bandits in hobo phase. I'm both curious and concerned on how will my story progress once it reaches Operation Afterglow arc if my character can maintain this relationship with UNISG.

Bit of a Stalker noob (played the OG trilogy years ago and just got back in with Anomaly vanilla) and I'm left wondering... What exactly are you playing? It looks like a modded Anomaly game but in Clear Sky. Does Anomaly work on Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat in addition to being a standalone game (for SOC)? Also what extra mods are you using and or recommend for anomaly? Gamma looks neat but it drastically changes the economy in ways I dislike and can't wrap my head around.

So, its a black scar H with a kit on top. The kit includes the Acog and the smaller dot on the side. They are a bit hard to come by but super awesome
