I've been stuck on this base. You don't seem to have a TON of enemies. However, I tend to have a shitload of them. That five-story building usually has a heavy and three other enemies inside with two on the corners of the outside door. On the other side of the base, two ground and one air drone lurks around. Of course, several other enemies are around, as well.

Using thermal vision can help spot people moving about a base at those times of day when its dark but not quite dark enough for the lights to have come on, useful for scouting beforehand more than during the clear.

Hi Custer, first of all I want to say that I'm always glad to see someone else playing without HUD elements in a tactical manor. I enjoyed your video because I like to see other operators do their thing. It's always good to check for things one can learn from them. I wrote down a few things that came to my mind when watching this video. If you allow me to do so, I want to share my thoughts with you to give you a good feedback on your job in that compound.

First of all you mentioned your 4 stages of stealth. I agree with those and they are a good thing to mention before doing anything else. You need to know what you will be dealing with. Also I agree with snipers being a high priority target. They can hurt you very bad very fast. It's essential to be aware of them and to deal with them sooner than later. 1.- You killed the first sniper without knowing if they move around on the roof. Some snipers change positions so it was a bit risky to take him out from there. While switching your position to line up the shot on the 2nd Sniper, he could have turned around to see his downed buddy and he would have alerted the rest of the guards.

2.- Your next step was to get access to the roof as a vantage point, which is a good thing to do. 3.- You didn't rush and kept calm and focused. Keys for operating in stealth. 4.- At 5:05 you didn't check the stairs to your right. If there's an enemy standing or coming down, you have the second alert. 5.- 5:06 you didn't check the hallway to your right. If there's an enemy you got an alert.

6.- at 5:35 you took the enemy by melee. Quiet and effective. 7.- 5:57 again not checking the stairs and again not checking the hallway. Results could be alerts. 8.- 6:57 you killed the 2 man patrol which is risky because you can't know at that point if there is a second patrol which will notice the dead bodies. Result is an alert. You even give the reason there yourself. 9.- 7:25 you did not kill the patrol which is the right thing to do there. This patrol by the way, could have been the one to later detect the bodies from 6:57. 10.- 7:40 you didn't kill the patrol and mentioned patience.

11.- 8:00 good thing you didn't take him out there. 12.- another good thing is mentioning potential hostiles on your way out. You never know if someone came inside while you're clearing or scouting from inside. 13. 8:28 double checked the corners. As you said correctly, patrols are moving. 14. At 9:33 that enemy should have spotted you for sure. That should have been an alert situation there as you were right in front of him. There was no need at all to change your position to take him out. Very risky. 15. Thumbs up for recommending using a knife. It's always more quiet if you don't know who's in your vicinity.

16.- 9:58 you killed him which is risky because you don't know if someone is standing on the right. While shooting him you possibly alert the enemy to his right and while jumping over the blockade, you're unable to deal with the second enemy. You were lucky there. You could have been sewerely wounded or killed there. 17.-10:17 good thing to pull back there. Too risky to engage and possibly alert someone. 18.- 10:57 did not engage. Too dangerous with a civilian next to the enemies and you might alert other patrols or guards. 19.- 11:34 if the guard turns around you're dead. Never turn your back towards an enemy. You have no chance to see him detecting you which lets you no chance to react. You also didn't see if there are more than 1 enemy. 20.- 11:45 another possible alert caused by killing him. You can't know if there is another enemy seeing him.

Imo True Stealth is when you don't kill anyone and still complete the objective without getting spotted. In and out and the enemies are none the wiser. As in a realistic environment the bodies would have been eventually found even if it was as simple as not responding to a radio check, or a new shift starting. So whenever I do the missions I always consider whether or not I/my character, would want to be completely undetected, e.g. with multiple tasks needing done, or if finding out that I was there wouldn't matter long term as I am moving on the base short term. Or Im erasing data or something similar, which would be noticed eventually anyway. Plus there's something super satisfying about going through an entire base without anyone knowing you're there.

Echelon class + Night = Invisible... I play on extreme and i I play with the echelon class, and once (at night) I literally walked past a guard in front of him to behind him and it only filled about 20% of the detection bar.

I mostly do mission during night. Recon the base with drones after that locate generator and disable it and after that u can do mission in stage 1 of stealth very easily.. 🤗🤗🤗

9:32 One of the main reasons I stopped playing. The AI is inconsistent. Sometimes they see u from across the base and other times you can walk passed them 5 feet in front of them and they would not notice you... sigh

This is overall a good walkthrough... yet if you want to be more immersive don't use a laser for in reality everyone else would be able to see it and it'll give you away. Playing using your scope the whole time makes it 100x more immerssive.

Rinse and repeat this tactic. High magazine count and lots of EMP. Toss EMP empty mag. Toss EMP empty mag cycle in a strike designator before anything tho then halfway through it will have recharged then use again but during all of this keep moving keep moving. The EMP will basically do job for you. After you learn the process behemoths are a joke

I can't stand not wearing ghillies.. multi materials and leaf suits lol.. but gradually switching to krytech Helikons and 5.11s.. I've had every GR since "island thunder" and would've loved snow suits in summit strike so when Wildlands had customisable gills I fell in love with the vegetation look of the in-game surroundings.. I'm surprised to say but GR:BP is 100 times better than MGS:V:TPP as of stealth and combat experience realism.. May it always live on and progress in its extraordinary gaming experience

What am I supposed to do when I have perfect stealth, then one of those land drones finds a body and everyone starts searching for me? I have drones limited and as far as I know you can’t take out those drones in stealth….. I rage quit and started playing wildlands because I feel all this futuristic stuff ruins the game and makes me not able to play how I want to play.

You need to clear corners better than that. I see a lot of guys clearing buildings like that... or worse. Maybe there wasn't any badguy in those poorly checked corners or hallways, but still in many cases there could be an elephant in that hallway without anyone noticing. Maybe i'm just a perfectionist (I am 😁). I check all corners, and behind doors.

Edit: I play on about the same settings as Cluster and this is how I usually play, on a medium to anything under this size I try to play it as fast yet tactical and smart as I can, starting with snipers than lookouts (Normal guys with a good vantage point) then clear any stationary people that are hidden from the main road, then take out patrols and anyone I missed the first time around. Rinse repeat until I cleared the base and then go back for the objective/loot, If you are new to stealth maybe don't play like this because it has a much higher detection rate because you might miss an enemy and then they call in a body. A gun I would recommend Is the G28 Scout its above average in everything and its what I used and still use occasionally it is a one-shot in stealth no matter where you hit them except for juggernauts and wolves, fairly quiet and sounds nice (the most important thing)
