Great tutorial! Messeage for Angelus can y’all make y’all black suede dye JET BLACK because it comes out purpleish looking once applied
@AngelusBrand5 жыл бұрын
There may be a couple of reasons it comes out purple. First, make sure the material you are dying is real suede or nubuck and then it is very important to not over saturate that surface with dye. Adding too much dye may give the purple or iridescent look like that. We suggest applying light layers evenly and then removing any of the extra dye by wiping/dabbing it off with a clean cloth and denatured alcohol. Hope this helps. If you have any more questions feel free to contact us at Info@angelusshoepolish.com

All it takes is proper prep and application. Make sure to prep the area well. We suggest using our Angelus Deglazer or Acetone to remove the factory paint/finish. This will allow Angelus paint to adhere better to the surface. Also, applying several thin coats of paint rather than one or two thick coats will help a lot more. Have fun!

I'm going to paint with Black acrylic. Angelus: Painting suede and Nubuck is not recommended... What had happened was.
@AngelusBrand3 жыл бұрын
We understand it might sound contradictive. The reason we usually don't recommend to paint on suede is because most people expect the suede fibers to remain soft. Painting on suede will definitely stiffen the fibers. The artist in this video does explain that applying the paint with the 2-Soft will result in adding a "texture" to the shoe. You're always welcome to experiment and find techniques that work best for you.
