Custom template, yes I have one 20-12 and it does long draw and short draw because it’s a speed taper and all I do is use .4/.5for long draw and .6/.7 latex for short draw. It’s idiot proof and just cut the latex to the length I need.

Glad you have good luck with it! I'll always keep my adjustable ruler for experiments... but the template is a must have in my opinion! 👊

Mate, you're cutting a trapez, not a triangle. You can achieve cutting a trapez with an adjustable ruler by turning the latex around. Apologies.

@@Illecebrous so you have length of your bands, then you have the width. You can cut a band that is straight, or tapered. A tapered band is wider at the end that attaches to the slingshot and narrower at the end that attaches to the pouch. Please watch some of my other videos, I test different tapers for speed and other things, thank you!!

@@DoubleDeeeZSlings I know all that... what I'm asking is what do the 150, 300, etc. all those numbers in the hundreds mean... What's their purpose? What are they telling you? I've tied pouches to bands and made tapered bands. A really good video should be made explaining how to go from your Active Band length to make any band taper you desire using all the numerical digits on that template... (LOL, or any template, including that black Chinese ruler/template with the three adjustable screws and that pullout clear plastic numeric template... ;-)
