Motor Persona had the incredible opportunity to talk with Matt Tartak, and discover more about personal and professional success, as well as touring his Liberty Walk wide body Audi R8.
Matt has lovingly built his Audi R8 from the ground up utilising Auto Elements in Sydney, Australia. In this video, we talk about family, reactions, building the car, and how it feels to own such an incredible car!
This Audi R8 has been modified with tasteful modifications such as:
- Air Lift Performance (Air Bags) for adjustable height control via a controller
- Liberty Walk wide fenders, side diffuser and rear wing
- Prior design front and rear bumpers
- Full carbon interior trim and custom trim seats
- Brixton forged wheels custom colour with colour coded brake callipers
- Akrapovic full valvetronic exhaust system (the sound of this exhaust system is next level, and is absolutely insane)
- Vaitrix water-methanol injection and injector upgrade
- Custom tune
- Dry carbon BMC air box
This liberty walk R8 is a very special car. It has been created as a show car with fan favourite modifications. It is also a liberty walk without the rivets which is rare!

How much is the weight of the liberty body kit?

They vary a little bit! I just bought a 2008 Audi R8 a month ago, and looked into it. I think they are $12k-$15k kits plus labour. This one is definitely special though. Having no rivets and such, it could be a little more expensive.
