I too had to give up my old collection (those old 90s kits) when I moved. Literal blood and sweat went into making those early Wing and X kits into something shelf-worthy, using nothing but a sharp pair of scissors, sharpies, testors enamel, and spare parts to get the poses to hold up with the weight (gen 1 Wzero Custom wings...shudder). I hate that I'll never see them again, but worse is they are in a box with family that care not for them (unless they're trashed already). You may miss your SPECTACULAR work, but someone here will appreciate them. I know I would and use it as the benchmark for quality work. Good luck with your move!

Why not start again? You can get most of those old kits again.

Dude! you went above and beyond for this one. A stylish reimagining of the godfather of modern mecha, a unique alternate story, another cool reimagining that pays homage to the Zeong, and an epic diorama! Sunrise should consider this. Awesome
@HajimotoSaito4 жыл бұрын
You really went all out with this one. You did justice on the Face that Launched a Thousand Sequels, Spin-offs, Gunplas, etc. The First one reminnds me of the Mudrock Gundam, the placement of the weapons help too. That Bonus scene is wonderful, I can see it you know. I can't help imagining it, happening before F90. Zeon at its dregs. Stealing a forgotten RX-78-2 that was meant to be piloted but wasn't. Delegated instead as a Replacement for Amuro's RX-78-2 inthe One Year War before the Magnetic Coating Upgrade. Piloted by a Clone of Char, the build up from the dust, soothe, etc. rendering it black. The Black Color and Red Highlights shkws that it has been perverted from being an MS to combat Zeon into being its Weapon. The Mudrock Colored one being Amuro's own Gundam, finally recovered after so long was repaired. Given left over parts to combat it. A young Newtype pilots it for the sake of his friends, alongside the Learning Computer with Amuro's fighting capabilities. A final stand, that shall finally be the end. Ushering the road to tomorrow. A shame that the Kit didn't include the Gundam Hammer. I can see it, the final stand off. Down to the last weapon, no more turning back. The Mudrock colored one with the Hammer and the Black one with a beam Saber. A single exchange before the Victor is known.

dang man that looks so cool. I have been wanting to paint some of my master grade granddaddy Gundams in custom colors and I might look into the color scheme you used for the Rx-78-X. The first kit I painted was the RG full armor unicorn. I modified the horn to more Phenix inspired and then tried painting the kit in two different golds. I knew they would release an actual RG Phenix, but I kind of prefer my not shinny version even tho its a wreck
