Another amazing example of the Petersen museum. Thank you so very much for taking the time to expose these gems to those of us who can’t get there…yet.

I'd agree with this comment. Good that the Petersen Museum is letting the public know about such rare gems.

That’s funny I just saw a 1941 Cadillac at a car show in Maine today just absolutely beautiful in person. Obviously not custom from the factory like this but pretty close just stunning! thank you for sharing!

Now that is a love story, when a husband loved his wife so much that he couldn't bear to keep her Caddy after her death. And thanks for sharing the story of this car, amazing that it was ahead of its time with those styling and customizing cues.

Clark sure did have excellent taste in cars. His 41 is so nice 👍 This one hits home for me as well. My Pop has a 1941 two door conv since the early 90's. I've done lots of repairs over the years, and she looks awesome. Pop passed two years ago, and now I'm her caretaker. I enjoy taking her out for a cruise and thinking of Pop, and everyone loves seeing the 41 at shows. Please keep these great videos coming. Cheers

Pretty sure he also had at one time a Mercedes’ SSK custom bodied convertible as well,a pre war model.

wish I would have bought this cadillac, Clark Gable 3 window coupe

Thank you for sharing. Gable could afford whatever his heart desired (or he thought his wife would like). I believe he earlier had one of the rare Duesenberg SJ Roadsters. I'm impressed that this was his choice in '41.

Please more varied views and angles of your deep dives with less static single shots. Thorough views of interior, underhood and trunk and how about a tour of the underside. Hearing the car start and run would be truly 'deep'. THANK YOU to all of you at The Petersen.

There's a dark irony to those St Christopher badges....

Gable was a car guy and had the means to indulge in the best. One of his last cars was a Mercedes 300SL Gullwing. Does not surprise me he sold the Caddy. People who knew him said he was never the same after his wife was killed in that plane crash.

Hate to be that guy, but for some reason it does not look stately or high end. And I guess it's just based on the a count of time that has passed as I can't put it up against it's competition in my head. It's a one off, that by itself looks great, but I can't honestly place it in a luxury pedestal. Sorry.

When I look that car I see no connection to current Caddy’s other than badge.
