To update the code to iOS 16 ( .animation() was deprecated in 15) I used: .animation(.spring(), value: font) inside the FilledRoundedCornerButtonStyle struct. Just what I needed for a Theme in my App!

Hello again, I have tested your example directly on the phone and found out, that it behave different than on simulator - the backgroundcolor on the sample 1 button does not change in dark mode - I have iphone11 ios 14.2. Any idea will be appreciated :-)

is picker styling just as easy?

No. PickerStyle is more complicated. I will be going over toggle, progressView and GroupBox styling in the next few weeks. There is little or no documentation on customizing a picker.
