Excellent video, my friend. Love all the flair you've added to this epic shelf. What an awesome night to be a CV fan! 😂 Four Horsemen not only make ML and Figura Obscura but also have been responsible for sculpting the NECA Castlevania figs. Most of my Castlevania shelf are monsters from different toy companies BUT still all from 4H. Jean St. Jean is also a legend too and he's the one who made half of my other CV figs like Werewolf, etc. They are the Patron Saints of my CV figure Bestiary!!

Stumbled across your channel today and I dig it. Subscribed after watching your alien video about obscure stuff from the movies in the '90s. Then I saw this Castlevania piece. Years and years ago I had the whole figure set and they were going for a good chunk of money and I needed money at the time because I was out of work and I sold them all for a couple hundred dollars. I regret it all the time now because I have a little Castlevania shelf with all my stuff on it and these would look great on that shelf too

Thank you so much for checking out my video, subbing and checking out my other content! It’s hard to dedicate my entire channel to just the Alien universe because I love it so much. However, there is so much stuff that I have gotten into over the years I love to broaden the horizons. As you’ve shown there are lots of people that are into the same sort of stuff I am into and I love to hear other people’s stories. Man, I have been there sometimes I have to trim the fat so to speak and down size the collection for either necessity of space or monetary reasons… it happens. @@2DayRentals I have Carmilla. She's got an awesome design & paint work but the one drawback is little articulation in the lower torso due to her dress. Bar that still and awesome figure!

Howdy @2DayRentals , I snagged 5 of the 6 Diamond Select Netflix figs and while it is cool to finally have representations of Trevor, Sypha, etc...they were plagued with QC issues in production at the factory. Ex. They advertised Trev to have a cloak that was removed before release and they included 6 pairs of hands and none of them can hold an accessory (!!!) unless you cut the glued knives out of there. Alternate heads are almost 100% identical to the normal heads and instead of Sypha being quite pretty, she is sculpted with two big bunny-esque front teeth. Oof. Also, they are a bit taller then some of the NECA stuff and close to Van Helsing's height. Overall, I'm happy to have em but I don't know if any are a must. Alucard may be cheaper then the NECA one, however.

Great stuff, I have a Castlevania shelf myself. The NECA ones are incredible, and highly detailed. If I had to pick a favorite game it’s Symphony of the night, OG for NES, Super Castlevania for SNES and despite the hate I love Simon’s Quest lmao 🤣 that red death looks amazing! Need to look into getting one of those 😬👍

Oh hell yeah. Symphony of the night is great. I need to play through that one again. They’re games I can play through time and time again. I tell you one that gets lost is Castlevania Rebirth. It is a remake of the 1989 Game Boy title Castlevania: The Adventure and its not have bad. Same with Castlevania Chronicles. Lots of those FourHorsemen figures work well for Castlevania too.

@@2DayRentals never played rebirth, but Chronicles I do have and was super stoked to get an old school Castlevania back then after Symphony. I only wish we would have gotten the Dreamcast one that got scrapped

Awesome video. I think the HOTD figures would look killer, in your display. I have the full set and they are super nice. You ever think about doing a custom diorama back drop for your figure sets? Make a castle front or something. That's a project that I'm currently starting.

Thanks brother. I need to track down some of those HOTD figures…not only a huge fan of that game but I totally agree they’d look killer in that set up. Listen, I don’t know much about Castlevania. I just know a few things like the Indiana Jones and I know about action figure accessories, of course but I plan on getting an NES soon. Can you recommend one of the Castlevania‘s and also which one is Indiana Jones in? Thanks.

@@Captaintoymantis I’d say go with the original Castlevania. Classic can’t go wrong. Honestly I don’t hate the version of Temple of Doom on the NES…though the original arcade game is much better.

Most definitely. The NES had a ton of games that were fun. It all kind of depends on what you’re in to. If your like movie tie in games Journey to Silius was originally a Terminator game before the license was dropped. Batman: The Video Game is incredible too. There are the obvious choices like Mario 3, Zelda and Metroid. I always prefer games that flew under the radar some. Adventures of LoLo is a very fun and addictive game. If you’re looking for a bizzare game that it’s really creative I really like Clash at Demon Head. It’s an action platform game that can be a bit cryptic on how to progress but really fun nonetheless. Other standouts would be Metal Storm, Felix the Cat and Guardian Legend. Thats a pretty good start. As things go these days some of these games have shot up in price. Others you may be able to find relatively inexpensive.
