That and a a 142 gtl were my first radios when I was a teen in the late 70’s to 82! Man I miss them and had the extra crystals, a 250 amp and a home made ufo style antenna. Miss those days

I appreciate it Joe! Yes I got fed up with rm stuff..no support from them at all. I'm pretty much done with the Texas star amps as well..no one likes those dei transistors so I had to go a different route. Which is not always the easiest or cheapest option but better for my customers. 73s 👋👊🇺🇲

Ok I’m a cb user every day at work but I’m really a NOOB when it comes to this stuff. I want to get an upgraded cb installed…could you do a bit of a video of the controls cb side and what each thing mean’s specifically? Might be a good video…I just don’t know what each feature does and how it use it in my rig….. I really enjoy your videos! I've described the mod in a previous video but it involves changing/removing 3 smt parts..thanks for watching ✅️ it will work for your connex right out of the box. It's the cobra/uniden radios that it won't work on unless modified
