I'm impressed. True DIY improvising with whats available. I'm trying to learn about control surfaces and RC stuff and I found this. I know nothing about how to power or steer a plane short of repurposing the guts of off the shelf toys. Noticed your hot melt glue didn't melt the foam? Polyethylene is a very tough plastic for folding, but it resists chemical adhesion with glues. You have got me thinking, soda bottle ailerons?

I've found 2 layers of $2 store foam board carved down to a 'v' section and covered with lamination film or wide tape is the winner for ailerons. Hard to get a soda bottle rigid enough.
